It feels completely illogical that a serum for blemishes contains both coconut oil (comedogenic index of 4 out of 5), alcohol (second on the ingredient list), and several allergens from essential oils – which is a nightmare especially for inflamed acne. Calling coconut oil environmentally friendly is more like greenwashing, as there are plenty of other oils. Still, Biovène is significantly more responsible than many other brands. They have many good products, but this one differs from their other range.

Is this brand cruelty-free (and vegan)? Hard to find info. As I've said for a couple of years now.. PLEASE LYKO, list which brands are cruelty-free, vegan, etc. because your filtering is NOT reliable. According to it, some Loreal products are certified by the Vegan Society, that can't be more wrong considering Loreal's unsympathetic view on animals... I've also mentioned that you should check this, but no... not so fun to be fooled by something you think you can trust. It would be really great (as I have written to you about countless times before) if you clearly stated which brands are cruelty-free, vegan, etc. It would make it much easier for us customers.1 product in post ?448 views- The comment was made 7 monthsIf Grazette does not fall under the cruelty-free category, as you said, then they are indeed a company that tests on animals, or allows/pays others to test their products (if sold in physical stores e.g. in China). I know that what is sold within the EU cannot be animal tested, but many still do not want to support a company that does not say no to animal testing in the rest of the world. That you mention that many large players and organizations are working on alternative testing methods, that already exists, but also large companies (like Lyko) should adhere to this if you do not think animal testing is okay. And as mentioned, it would be good if you review your filtering tool as it often brings up completely wrong products 🙂

Does the half(whole)strange ingredient list that’s here actually match? I can’t find anything sensible about the contents on any other website either. Feels more like it would be the contents of a powder, with pretty bad ingredients...
