Yes, you can build on it, but if it already looks patchy, a new layer can often emphasize the unevenness.
First, take a lukewarm shower and gently buff over the patchy areas with an exfoliating mitt or mild scrub, dry completely, apply a thin layer of regular cream on the drier zones.
Then apply a thin, even layer with the glove, avoid water and sweat for 6–8 hours and moisturize the skin daily ✨
If the patches are very obvious, it might be worth removing more first (warm bath + exfoliation or a tan eraser) and start again with a thin layer 🫧
