      Hey Anna! Sulfate-free shampoos often contain milder cleansers that don't lather as much and can therefore be less effective at removing oil and dirt from the scalp. I don't know what shampoo you've used before, but if you've recently switched to sulfate-free shampoo, your scalp may still be adjusting. Sulfates can dry out the scalp, causing the body to overproduce sebum as compensation. When you switch to a milder shampoo, it can take time for sebum production to balance out, which can lead to your hair feeling greasy faster.
