Vitamin C and Retinol
Hi! I currently use Skin Essentia Moisturizer 5 and am thinking about switching to Medik 8 and using Vitamin C serum in the morning and retinol at night. Is that a good plan? What strength should I use for the retinal cream, and what do I apply on top of the vitamin C serum?1 product in post Vitamin C and Retinol14 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Since you are already using Skin EssentiA Moisturiser 5, your skin is probably used to vitamin A. If you don’t usually get easily irritated, you can therefore choose Medik8 Crystal Retinal 6 ( lyko.com/no/medik8/medik8-crystal-retinl-6-cream-30ml ). However, if you have sensitive skin or want to introduce retinal a bit more gently, Crystal Retinal 3 ( lyko.com/no/medik8/medik8-crystal-retinal-3-serum-30-ml ) is also a good option. Feel free to start with 2–3 evenings a week and gradually increase as your skin gets used to it. An example of a routine could look like this: 🌞 Morning: Cleanse → Medik8 C-Tetra Advanced → Medik8 Total Moisture Daily Facial Cream ( lyko.com/no/medik8/medik8-total-moisture-daily-facial-cream-50-ml ) → sun protection SPF 30–50. 🌙 Evening: Cleanse → Medik8 Crystal Retinal → Medik8 Total Moisture Daily Facial Cream. Also remember to avoid acid exfoliation on the same evening you use retinal. Hope this helps you, and good luck with your new routine! 🥰 Have a really nice day!
