I actually didn't have high expectations. I thought it was just another version of a classic I knew all too well. But Acqua di Giò - EDP surprised me.
It feels more mature and more balanced than the original, which I now think feels a bit too youthful and light. Here I get a scent with more character and presence, without it becoming heavy or intrusive. I feel well-dressed and confident when I wear it. It fits perfectly for both work and evenings out. It doesn't make a fuss, but it is remembered.
(Though it might seem too “safe” for niche enthusiasts.)
