    Hey! Just a thought. Doesn’t contain sulfates, as I understand, but does the shampoo wash away silicones? Grateful for an answer :)

It is a super nourishing, strengthening shampoo that builds up the hair, but it is not a deep cleansing shampoo and is therefore not made to dissolve or remove heavier product residues like silicones. If you really want to "reset" your hair sometimes and get rid of silicones, styling residues, or build-up, then Olaplex No.4C Clarifying Shampoo is what you should pick up.
