Hi! It says to use sunscreen with the product, how high of an SPF is needed? Does it need to be used now even during the winter months? Can you use face cream with SPF in it?

Hey Ellen! 😊
When using retinol, it's important to have sun protection, so go for a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30-50. For extra safety, I recommend SPF 50. And yes, you need sun protection even during the winter months, as UV radiation is present year-round, even on cloudy days.
It is absolutely fine to use a face cream with SPF, as long as it is broad-spectrum. Just remember to apply a generous amount, about two finger lengths for the face, and do it as the last step in your morning routine. If you're outside for a long time, don't forget to reapply!
Wishing you a lovely day! 🩷
