Safe and stylish as a first lipstick
Disclaimer: I rarely wear lipstick, so I have zero clue how to make it last well. Purchased shade: spicy I have used this directly on my lips: nice edges, good consistency, and if you don’t have too much product it won’t smudge that much (but it still smudges a little). For me, it wears off quite a bit in the middle if I eat, drink, and lick my lips over a few hours without reapplying, but I think it looks nice that way, kind of like having a very defined but intentional lip liner (if you know what look I mean)? So if I want the solid color, I have to carry the stick in my pocket. I’ve also tried putting a small amount of product in the center of my lips and then smudging it out to give my lips a bit more color and life in a subtle way. I think that worked well too and gives me the ability to control the color intensity.1 product in post Safe and stylish as a first lipstick128 views - The post was made 2 daysRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Light in every way
I have used this as a face cream, extremely good value for that purpose. It is thin and easily absorbed and has a mild, faint, and pleasant scent. Personally, I can't speak of any advanced properties, just that it works as a face cream for combination dry-oily skin. However, it wouldn't work as a hand cream or rich body cream, as it is too light for that, so it's worth checking out other products. Will definitely buy again.1 product in post Light in every way151 views - The post was made 2 daysRating: 3 out of 5verified customer
Small for the price
Small packaging, worth checking the specifications. I bought it anyway as a treat-for-myself gift and find it handy to have on the go. I thought peach was a nice scent and moisturized somewhat but not a miracle product.1 product in post Small for the price37 views - The post was made 1 yearsRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
Easy application
I use this to paint the waterline, works great. It's soft enough not to hurt and hard enough to easily give color. However, it can crumble a bit if you try to touch up the makeup. Smudges a little.1 product in post Easy application325 views - The post was made 1 yearsRating: 3 out of 5verified customer
Weird taste
Gives a thin and light layer on the lips, sun protection, and a crazy low price. Unfortunately, it's a shame that it tasted bad. I've tried more expensive lip products (about 50-70 kr, PL3 and O'Keeffes) and for me, it's worth the higher price since I prefer a thicker consistency and don't want weird tastes1 product in post Weird taste558 views - The post was made 1 yearsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Essence delivers!
Super pretty shine right upon application that then turns a nice pink after a short while. The fact that it’s also a lip tint whose pink color lasts all day was a fantastic surprise. It neither tastes nor smells remarkable, but can tingle a little bit for the first minute, reminiscent of plumping gloss. Cute packaging and crazy good price. Tastes and smells like melon
Nice consistency and gives a thick lovely shine on the lips. Really nice. Cheap. The big problem is the taste/smell: melon and not lychee. I'm sensitive to just melon (think soap-gen for coriander) so that's why it gets three stars, but if you like melon candy, this tastes the same (in my soap-opinion)1 product in post Tastes and smells like melon729 views - The post was made 1 yearsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Flavor and scent-free
Thick consistency that you can build up to a light or a bit more substantial layer on the lips. Keeps the lips soft all day when applied in the morning. Reasonable price1 product in post Flavor and scent-free107 views - The post was made 1 yearsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Thick lip balm that lasts
I have previously used Lypsyl original (that cheap blue one) so I will mostly compare with that. O'Keeffe's is quite thick and moisturizing and protects the lips. It has a cooling effect and feels a bit toothpaste-like minty on the lips right after application, which can be a dealbreaker for this particular kind. For this one, it only tastes and smells slightly minty and is not at all bothersome, it’s the cooling sensation that can be a bit much. I currently apply it 3 times a day as I enjoy the thick protective feeling of freshly applied and have noticed that my lips have become softer compared to when I didn’t use any lip balm (my Lypsyl was out) and I think the softness lasts longer than when I used Lypsyl, both in terms of time, but also through food and drink. Overall, I think this lip balm is very good, but the cooling effect may not be my favorite and when this one is finished, I will try to test the original.1 product in post Thick lip balm that lasts364 views
