Best!!
I have used many lash serums over the past 15-20 years, and for a long time Xlash was my favorite, but then they changed something and I used up the last tube (the big one) without noticing any difference. I now want to avoid prostaglandins, and skincare-Elvira recommended Sweed, so I took a chance. And WOW, I’m so happy I did, because now I have lashes that almost reach my eyebrows! I never want to be without this!! Unfortunately, I didn’t take any before pictures, but I estimate my lashes have grown at least 3-4 mm, totally crazy!! I have never experienced any side effects from any lash serum, so I seem to tolerate them well, and this one didn’t cause any either, just magically long lashes! Then I want to take the opportunity to recommend "tubing mascaras" which have been a gamechanger for me, oh so incredibly good! They give length, volume, and definition AND wash off easily with just water!! (Essence has the best!). Lash serums are often expensive, but you can sometimes find Sweed on sale now and then, and then I jump on it!! Not for me...
I had very high expectations for this, and unfortunately they were not met. My problem is that with age (50 years) I have skin that is shiny on the forehead and dry with more texture on the cheeks. No foundation I find works for my whole face, and most emphasize my texture on the cheeks, and this one did too, sigh. I am a skincare and makeup nerd (for 30 years) so I know my skin quite well and have effective routines for cleansing and moisturizing. But it doesn't matter how I do it (tried with different primers, brush, fingers, damp sponge), but no, this one becomes matte and dry on my cheeks. On the forehead, however, it works well, there I get just the right amount of glow and coverage, but that's not enough, the cheeks were a disaster so unfortunately this was a miss for me. I want to add that I experienced the colors as darker in real life compared to the product pictures, so the shade I got home was slightly too dark.1 product in post Not for me...136 views- The comment was made 1 weekHi! Hi! Sometimes products come in a mini size, which I love because then I get the chance to try it first before buying a more expensive full size. Disappointed
This one wasn't for me, there are many others that are much better (check out the new one from Loreal, the silver one! Really good). It gives okay volume but I really have to work and work... I'm too lazy for that. The result is okay in the end but nothing more. But what makes me never want to buy it again are two things, first it's really hard to get off (big no no to have to struggle to get it off) and then it makes me completely black under my eyebrows! Very good!
I'm a little crazy about mascaras and can't help but try all the new ones that come out! And this one is REALLY good, like really good!! It builds volume pretty quickly, a little length, and the lashes look a bit feathery, like real false lashes. It doesn't flake at all under the eyes either. The pen is super easy to work with, but I don't like the colors I've tried: 02 Must have brown pulls a bit yellow on me. 03 Make a mauve pulls a bit purple on me. Happy Surprise
This was a happy surprise! Incredibly easy to work with alongside a stiff angled brush. I’m dark, but this in the shade 01 Light fits me perfectly. I first use a brow glue from Essence and then fill in the shape with this. So-so
I thought this one was okay but nothing more, maybe I had too high expectations. It does what it’s supposed to do but I think it leaves a white residue no matter how much or little I use, that I let it dry a bit, mess around and then brush. It also doesn’t give any volume at all, and I like that. Wrong color for me
I bought it in no. 5 chocolat and it didn't look good on me as I have a medium light skin tone, it was simply much more opaque than I had thought. I thought it would be more sheer and that you would see the shade, but it's more like a lipstick so my lips turned completely brown, not pretty. Then I experienced that it sat on top of the lips, it absolutely didn't hydrate at all.
