Moisturizing Serum
In collaboration with Reviewclub, I had the opportunity to test the Lumene Nordic Hydra Aqua Dew Serum. I have very dry skin that often feels tight around the eyes and cheeks. Now that it’s starting to get colder, it’s getting even worse. I have tested countless products to try to find something that moisturizes enough. This serum from Lumene is close enough and actually makes me feel moisturized, and the tightness disappears. As always, Lumene's packaging for serums is great and easy to handle. You get exactly the amount you want. I find the serum to be economical and it absorbs quickly into the skin. It smells good and very much like the other serums from Lumene that I have tested. Personally, I have nothing against it, but if you are sensitive to scents, it might be too much. In summary, a good serum, but it could have been liiiite more moisturizing, then it would have gotten full marks.1 product in post Moisturizing Serum71 views - The post was made 1 monthRating: 1 out of 5
Nothing for me
I tested the L’Oréal Paris Infaillible Faux Brow Pen in the shade blonde. I am red-haired, so my own brows are very light and thin with hair only at the front. This pen was extremely difficult to maneuver, I think, and no matter how I did it, the result was not pretty. When I was too light-handed, nothing happened, and when I pressed a little harder, the painted strands became too thick. Out to the side where I have no own strands, it looked unnatural. I experienced that the color darkened a bit when it dried, which I did not appreciate. The only positive thing I have to say about the product is that the durability is good. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free.1 product in post Nothing for me172 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 4 out of 5
Serum from Lumene
Through Reviewclub, I have had the opportunity to test this serum. The consistency is good and absorbs easily and quickly into the skin. I really like the scent of orange, but if you are sensitive to scents, it might smell a bit too strong. The serum moisturizes my dry skin well, but unfortunately, I don't see any improvement in terms of radiance. Maybe the serum needs to be used for a longer time for any effect to be visible. The packaging is, as usual with Lumene, amazing - frosted bottle so you can see how much is left, easy to dose with the dropper, and hygienic. The conclusion is that it is a serum I appreciate even though the promised radiance is not experienced.1 product in post Serum from Lumene531 views - The post was made 6 monthsRating: 3 out of 5
Schwarzkopf TAFT Aloe Boost Hairspray
In collaboration with #reviewclub, I got to test Schwarzkopf TAFT Aloe Boost Hairspray. I normally use hairspray very rarely, so I was curious about what this spray could contribute. I have thick and curly hair that is very frizzy. What I found positive about the spray was that it held the results all day without making the hair hard and stiff. A positive is that it contains aloe vera, even though I can't say I've noticed any difference in my hair. The packaging is also positive as I find it easy to use and pretty. Negatively, I think the scent is, it reminds me of cheap hair wax from my teenage years.1 product in post Schwarzkopf TAFT Aloe Boost Hairspray81 views - The post was made 7 monthsRating: 2 out of 5
No!
In collaboration with Reviewclub, I got to test the Taft Aloe Boost Texturizing Spray. I have long thick hair, curly, dry, and frizzy. I don't really understand this product, it does absolutely nothing for my hair - it doesn't reduce frizz, gives no texture or volume. I don't know if my hair is TOO thick or if I simply need to spray in a lot more product? If that's the case, it's not worth the price. On the plus side, the packaging is nice, but that's probably all. I don't even like the scent, which reminds me of some cheap wax I had as a young teenager.1 product in post No!39 views - The post was made 7 monthsRating: 1 out of 5
Nothing for me
I tested the Taft Aloe Boost Multifunctional Styling Cream in collaboration with Reviewclub. I have long, dry, frizzy, and curly hair, and this product did absolutely nothing better for my hair. Instead, it became heavy and flat. I read another review where the user also has curly hair, and she had tested scrunching the cream into her wet curls with good results. I tried it, and the result was even more frizz, no defined curls, and heavy flat hair. I also tested it on dry hair, but no, it doesn't work well. However, it works well in my husband's beard with good hold and less frizz. I'm also not fond of the scent.1 product in post Nothing for me26 views - The post was made 7 monthsRating: 4 out of 5
Lancome mascara
I tested the mascara through Smartson. At first, I couldn't really get along with the brush. It's narrow and hard, and it took many swipes to get any color on the lashes. However, after a few uses, I started to like it more and more, even though I wished it was a bit thicker and a bit softer. The advantage of it being so narrow is that you can reach all the lashes in the inner corner of the eye without getting mascara on half your nose. My natural lashes are thin, pale, and relatively short. This mascara gives intense color and length. I really like that the lashes are separated and that the mascara lasts all day without flaking or smudging. It's also easy to build up without it becoming spider legs. Easy to wash off with makeup remover without leaving black streaks under the eye. Overall, a good mascara that I could recommend to others. Unfortunately, the price is a big minus, which is why I probably won't buy it again. However, if you have no problem spending 400 bucks on a mascara and like narrow brushes, then go for it. I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.1 product in post Lancome mascara486 views - The post was made 9 monthsRating: 5 out of 5
Nordic Bloom Vegan Collagen Essence
In collaboration with #reviewclub, I have tested the Nordic Bloom Vegan Collagen Essence from Lumene. I have only had time to test the product for just under two weeks, but already at the first use, I noticed a difference in my skin. I use it morning and night as a first step on cleansed skin. I have very dry and sensitive skin that easily becomes red and flushes. During the cold season, my cheeks feel like sandpaper. That feeling has completely disappeared since I started using this serum. I feel like I have gained radiance and a more even tone in my face. Maybe my skin has even become a bit firmer. Whether it works on wrinkles is too early to say, but I will continue to use the product and see. The serum is colorless and completely fragrance-free. It is economical and absorbs quickly into the skin. I really like this serum a lot and will continue to use it.1 product in post Nordic Bloom Vegan Collagen Essence59 views - The post was made 9 monthsRating: 4 out of 5
Overall good and worth the money
Through #reviewclub, I have tested the Glizz Sealing Shampoo Split Hair Miracle. I have used the product for about three weeks and experience soft, smooth hair with less frizz. It smells really good. Unfortunately, the product is quite runny and not very economical. During washing, I feel a somewhat rough sensation in my hair, but it disappears when I rinse out the shampoo. I don't know what that's due to. Overall, a good shampoo that is worth the money.1 product in post Overall good and worth the money128 views - The post was made 9 monthsRating: 4 out of 5
Worth the money
Through #reviewclub, I have tested the Gliss Night Elixir Overnight Reconstruction. I think the product smells good and is economical, two pumps are enough for my shoulder-length hair. More product makes the hair heavy and gives a sticky feeling. With the right amount, the hair becomes soft and smooth, and I experience less frizz. I can't comment on whether it repairs, but I still think the product is well worth the money.1 product in post Worth the money582 views
