I am around 50 and have dry skin that turns red in cold and with too little moisture. The cream feels rich and gives the impression that it should do what it’s supposed to, but after a couple of days of use, I experience that the skin feels tight, even though it is smooth and soft on the surface. I couldn’t continue using it. So I have gone back to my previous routine: alternating between Pyunkang Yul, klairs Freshly Squeezed vitamin E, and – yep! – Eucerin’s Atocontrol balm. It’s not really for the face, but wow, does it moisturize! Because of that, I only use it at night, as I suspect it wouldn’t work well with makeup. - The post was made 5 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customerMakes my over-bleached, thousand-times-colored hair insanely softI have East Asian hair, thick strands that are now brittle due to natural graying, but mostly because I've bleached it several times (to get platinum color on East Asian hair requires at least three bleaches), colored it pink, orange, purple, red, you name it. So my hair without aids is like a stiff, ancient floor mop. But,,, with this serum, the hair feels freshly cut, soft as silk, and looks (not is) healthy. I'm sensitive to products that leave a noticeable film on the scalp, but I don't experience that here. The hair feels.... natural (even though my hair in its natural form is coarse). It doesn't weigh down, but as I said, I have thick hair and have rarely experienced products weighing it down. I only use this serum in the line, not their pre-shampoo or similar. So it’s very economical. I have dry, middle-aged skin that turns bright red in winter if it’s not seriously moisturized. This product has really helped reduce redness. I use it together with SKIN1004’s centella ampoule and Klairs toner. Yes, it’s a bit hard to spread and doesn’t absorb super fast, but since I use primer (Banila co Primer Classic), it doesn’t matter. No rolling makeup, everything stays where it should. Nars (shade Gobi) was color-wise a perfect match. The best result is achieved when I apply it with my fingers - better coverage and a smoother (hear and gasp!) finish. One pump is enough. It never gets thick and cakey, but incredibly natural. Unlike Nars Light-reflecting foundation in the shade Fiji (which I have now as winter paleness starts to fade), the shade Gobi does not oxidize, but maintains the same shade all day. However, the coverage doesn't last all day, despite well-prepped skin and primer. But, that's probably to be expected from a non-silicone product. It's a bit too "sticky" and therefore too much foundation (Nars Light Reflecting) comes off when the bronzer is blended out. I've used Diorshow Iconic for over 15 years (love it!), tried Sensei 38° (didn't work for me), but this is the best I've tried. Long, curled, voluminous lashes. No clumping. No smudging. The only "problem" is that it's very hard to remove, I've had to buy new makeup remover. But that just means this is completely smudge-free.
