      The expiration date on cosmetics can be indicated as an open jar symbol (PAO, e.g., 6M/12M/24M) or as a specific date (e.g., EXP 2027-05). Look for it on the box, the bottom of the packaging, near the barcode, on the tube seam, or laser-engraved on the neck/side of the bottle. If there is no date, you will find a batch number (LOT) – then follow the PAO symbol and storage recommendations; if the scent, color, or consistency changes, it’s better not to use the product 😇
