The spray smells really strong and it lingers in the hair until the next wash. I can't handle the smell - it's almost headache-inducing. I might have been able to tolerate it if it had given magical results, but it doesn't. My hair gets a bit straw-like. Not recommended!

It might also be wise to apply it to damp hair and blow-dry it completely dry. If you still experience issues, a more neutral or fragrance-free heat protectant could be an alternative.
