Hey Mai! 🌸
Thank you for sharing your experience. Maria Nila True Soft Argan Oil is a styling and care product developed to provide moisture, shine, and combat frizz – not a pure, cold-pressed argan oil. Therefore, it also contains silicones, which help to lock in moisture, protect the hair from external stressors, and give a soft feel without weighing it down.
For many, silicones work well as they make the hair more manageable and shiny right away, but we understand that some prefer completely pure oils. It’s simply two different types of products with different purposes 🌿
If you want a product with only argan oil, a pure, cold-pressed variant is definitely a good option – but for those looking for a more easily applied, styling-friendly oil that also protects the hair, Maria Nila is a nice choice.
All the best 💗
Doing the conditioner method - i.e. washing hair with ONLY conditioner containing "gentle" ingredients. (Check out balsammetoden.se) I have tried several brands to find the right one for my hair - this one is spot on. Just the right thickness to really work it into the hair so it actually removes dirt/oil. At the same time, the hair is not left dry. (Many conditioners are either too watery or oily.)
My hair feels better now after a few months, but I guess I’ll have to wait a year to see the long-term effect.
