Colored highlights on dyed hair that has been red and black
Hi, this is how my hair looks. I dyed my hair red in the summer of 2025, and then dyed it over twice with brown and the last time with black color, all within 2 months. Now it’s been about 6/7 months since I dyed it and I have gotten quite a bit of regrowth since, and the black has become lighter. The comment was made 1 weekHi again Ingrid Johanne! 😊 Unfortunately, a purple shampoo won’t hold up in this case, since it primarily works on already light, yellow tones 💜 Since you have several old color pigments in your hair (red, brown, and black), it’s difficult to predict exactly what shade you’ll get after bleaching.
