Fantastic pads
Absolutely wonderful pads that give a nice result quickly. The skin becomes smoother and softer after just a few days with these. At first, I thought they felt a bit dry compared to other brands that have really soaked serum pads, but it’s such an effective liquid that one pad for face and neck is just right. Smells fresh and luxurious and not too strong (like e.g. Exuviance). Worth every penny because they are so effective. I use them every to every other evening and I have sensitive skin that easily gets red. I have discovered that a serum with azelaic acid works incredibly well to apply after these pads, I’m currently using one from CommonClouds (cloudmilk) which is both cheap and absolutely fantastic against redness after exfoliation, but there are several similar ones on the market with 10% azelaic acid. My current routine is fantastic and consists of: Elemis balm to cleanse, their pro collagen toner in spray form, one pad over the face, serum with azelaic acid, and finally a barrier cream to lock everything in (I’m currently using one from Paula’s Choice in the evening, daytime Elemis Superfood). It’s easily the best routine I’ve had so far, I’ve never had such hydrated and even clear skin.1 product in post Fantastic pads - The post was made 1 weekRating: 5 out of 5
The best body serum on the market
Wonderful serum for the whole body. I have chronically dry skin all over, and this serum is the best I've found to keep the skin hydrated all day during summer. Lovely formula that feels like a dry oil and quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving it beautifully plumped and soft. Smells wonderful like all Moroccan Oil products. Very economical, so well worth the price, I've been using mine 2-3 times a week for a year now and have about half the bottle left, and I use it generously all over the body. Totally worth every penny!1 product in post The best body serum on the market240 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5
Iconic Eyeshadows
MAC has the best eyeshadows on the market in my opinion. All imaginable shades and tons of different finishes; matte, velvet, silk, glitter, metallic, foil, wet, dazzle... Whatever you're looking for! I tend to only use one or a couple of shades when I buy pre-curated palettes, so for me it's perfect to be able to build my own palette, and I've preferred MAC for many years. Some of my most used favorites are: Satin taupe, Naked Lunch, L.E.S artiste, Wedge, Omega, Shroom, and She sparkles. I'm attaching pictures with swatches of shadows grouped in similar shades (brown, light/white, etc.) as I personally find such pictures helpful to see differences when choosing between similar shades📸1 product in post Iconic Eyeshadows429 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5
Fantastic Eyeshadows
Iconic for a reason, simply some of the best eyeshadows on the market. I usually buy MAC's single shadows without packaging and collect them in a MAC palette, but I also have a number of loose eyeshadows in this packaging. So easy to throw in the bag/necessaire. The colors I've used the most over the years are undoubtedly Omega and Wedge, two light brown matte shades. They are similar in color, but the difference is that Omega leans cooler and Wedge warmer on the skin. Depending on the look, I choose one of the two (see attached pictures). Another favorite "one and done" is Naked Lunch, a light pink/beige shade with a satin finish that looks incredibly good on my Nordic light skin. Shroom and Nylon are two more beautiful light shades for those who don't want an advanced look. Satin Taupe is a classic for those who want a slightly darker shade, perfect for a smokey eye look and has a unique neutral/cool undertone in a mauve/taupe shade that looks good on Nordic light skin.1 product in post Fantastic Eyeshadows965 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
One of my favorites from LH
A palette I didn't immediately fall for, but the more I used it, the more it became one of my favorites and most used! What’s so great about Aim higher are the cool undertones, perfect for me as I have a cool undertone and often find that colors pull too orange/too warm on me. This palette has a neutral color scale that leans towards the cool side. Slab and Dyno are the most used shades I own from LH. So perfect for everyday makeup when you want a discreet look. The palette also contains a couple of lovely shimmer and glitter shades that are also top notch. An underrated palette that is definitely worth a purchase in my opinion.1 product in post One of my favorites from LH172 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Awesome
I love this! I previously used a similar smaller puff from Real Techniques but wanted one with a bit larger surface to get done faster. This is the only one I've seen, so I tried it and am positively surprised. Soft with perfect resistance and a large surface so you can quickly set foundation in place. It gives basically the same result as with a regular sponge, but it goes faster thanks to the flat (i.e., larger) surface compared to a sponge which is rounded (i.e., touches a much smaller area per dab).1 product in post Awesome584 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
The best eyeshadows LH has released!!!
Divine eyeshadows from LH. They are soft, silky, glide on like a dream. Perfectly pigmented, meaning just enough color but not so much that it becomes hard to just lay a "wash of colour". I have a couple of neutral favorites from LH from before from the palette "Aim higher" (slab and dyno). Compared to these, none of the shades are identical. I have not found any of the new colors in any of LH's palettes, so far as I can see all shades are new releases! The formula in the single shadows is divine, perfection simply. The formula in the palettes is wonderful too, in comparison the singles are even better, a bit creamier, a bit silkier, a bit easier to work with, but that definitely doesn't mean that the formula in the palettes is bad. It is not. On the contrary, LH's eyeshadows are some of the best on the market in my opinion. LH and MAC are my go-to favorites. Compared to MAC's eyeshadows, LH's are even creamier and more pigmented. MAC has a slightly "drier" finish. But both are top-notch and I use both daily. LH has done an amazing job with the undertones in these single shadows, really nice neutral shades that don't pull too warm on me as I have a cool undertone. Attaching pictures with swatches in both cool and warm light. I bought the three lightest shades and they are perfect for a basic and discreet everyday look for a Nordic light skin (will however complement with the other three shades asap). Five out of five stars from me💯1 product in post The best eyeshadows LH has released!!!558 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Incredibly good for the price
I am deeply impressed! Considering the low price, this is a fantastic dry shampoo. Smells lovely and not TOO much. No residue or visible powder on the scalp the next day. The effect holds up well even the following day. Really good all-round spray at a very good price.1 product in post Incredibly good for the price863 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5
Icons for a reason!
The world's best lip liners in my opinion. A perfect balance between a real pencil with enough wax in the formula to really hold lip products inside the lines but still soft enough to glide on easily and feel creamy. Love them now and have loved them for almost 20 years! I have dozens of these at home and have gone through many. They last extremely long, I still use several pencils that are years old as they are shades no longer made. My absolute favorites and most used shades are (for reference, I am light blonde, porcelain skin): Whirl - perfect cool pink/taupe Soar - neutral dusty pink Subculture - light beige/pink Stone - cool brown/beige Plum - cool brown-red/purple Oak - warm light brown (compare Stripdown) Cork - warm medium brown Chestnut - neutral dark brown Root for me - cool deep dark brown/purple1 product in post Icons for a reason! - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
The best eyeshadows on the market
Iconic for a reason! MAC has the best eyeshadows on the market in my opinion. There’s something for everyone here, from all imaginable shades to tons of different finishes. Matte, velvet, satin, glitter, metallic, foil, wet, dazzle... Whatever you prefer, it’s probably in the range. I tend to only use one or a couple of shades when I buy pre-curated palettes, so for me, the best option is to build my own palette, and I’ve preferred MAC for many years. My latest purchase Sable (a wonderful warm medium brown shade with a velvet finish) is a repurchase since my old version felt too old. Some of my most used favorites are: Satin taupe, Naked Lunch, L.E.S artiste, Wedge, Omega, Shroom, and She sparkles. Highly recommended💯 Attaching pictures with swatches of shadows grouped in similar shades (browns, light/white, etc.) as I personally find such pictures helpful to see differences when choosing between similar shades😉 Ps. A tip is to start with one or a couple of shadows and feel which colors and finishes you really enjoy and use - before you (possibly) invest in more. I have built my collection over many years.1 product in post The best eyeshadows on the market269 views
