Pampering vibe for special mornings, not for routine
These hydrogel patches were especially refreshing when stored in the fridge 🧊 There is plenty of treatment liquid in the package, and you can let some of it drip off the patches if you want them to stay in place. Since using the patches is its own operation and an extra step in facial cleansing, I ended up not using them very regularly. Besides the cooling sensation, I didn’t notice any special effect on the skin around the eyes, like improved color or softened fine lines, which the promised “younger-looking gaze” might suggest. To improve the condition of the eye area, it might be better to invest in a good eye cream, which can more easily become a long-lasting part of morning and evening routines. Multipurpose fragrance spray does not meet expectations
The glass bottle is beautiful and the spray is finely misted. The sweet citrus scent doesn’t really develop or live on the skin before it disappears. It lingers a bit longer on hair and textiles, which is why this composition might be better suited as a mood-setting room fragrance. Rituals could launch a fabric softener or textile spray with the Mehr series scent, as they have done with some of their other lines. I would compare this scent’s strength and longevity to TBS body sprays, and compared to that, the price of €25/50 ml seems too high to me. Since the slim bottle is easy to carry around and can be reapplied throughout the day, this could be a nice product for Mehr series fans to layer their favorite scent. Indulgent shower oil at a great price
This shower oil is quite liquid, which is good to remember when dosing. You don’t need to squeeze the bottle; just tilting it with the cap open is enough. On the skin, the oil foams only a little, which I think is a good sign — not too many foaming agents have been used to create a cleansing effect. Compared to other Ritual of Mehr products I’ve tested, this one has the best scent — the oil’s fragrance is mild and subtly luxurious. The cedarwood note I missed in the hand cream and fragrance spray from the series comes out better in the shower oil. This could also suit users sensitive to fragrances, although preferences are always individual. I’ve been using the product for a couple of weeks now and found it good both for regular showering and with an exfoliating brush or glove. Especially when used for exfoliation, the skin feels wonderfully smooth and soft after the oil. The packaging is both beautiful and convenient to use. Rich and long-lasting cream for fragrance lovers
The product is, as the name suggests, a balm for dry hands — the cream is thick like a body butter. However, it spreads well and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling. A pea-sized amount is enough for both hands and elbows. The hands feel well moisturized until the next hand wash. The scent is strong and lingers on the skin for a good while. The citrus scent is indeed sweet and reminds me more of mandarin than orange. The warm and piney cedarwood is present mostly as an impression. I'm not the biggest fan of sweet scents, and I don't really care for how much of a "statement" this scent makes. After a couple of weeks of use, I find that I really like the feel of the cream; my cuticles practically love it. I would give this product full marks if it weren't so heavily fragranced. For the most sensitive skin and fragrance-sensitive people, the scent might be too much, which is a shame because the product is so nourishing. For fans of the Ritual of Mehr fragrance family, this is probably a bullseye. Decent intimate oil but doesn't reach the top of its price range
I've used many different moisturizing and soothing intimate wash products. I have my go-to favorites, but I also like to give new acquaintances a chance sometimes. This product arrived to me in a plastic package, unlike the product and review pictures on the online store. Maybe the manufacturer is switching to new packaging. The lemongrass scent is really strong to me, as is the oil's own characteristic smell. I might be alone with this trauma, but the combination reminds me of a spoonful of fish oil, which is a bit off-putting. Fortunately, the scent doesn't linger strongly on the skin. The washing effect is quite good and the feeling is also fairly moisturizing. In this price range, however, this product is a disappointment. It seems like you're mostly paying for the branding, not for a mind-expanding user comfort. Really good mid-range bougie moisturizer
Fragrance-free, economical, and effective. Layers well and doesn't roll under makeup. I buy this alternately with the cheaper serums in the category. The product has a fairly thick consistency, and dosing is easy thanks to the pump cap. Gentle care product for intimate wash
This is my favorite product for washing an irritated or dry intimate area, as it is gentle, moisturizing, and economical. The soothing Coconut+Vanilla scent is very mild and does not awkwardly suggest that one should somehow clean or cover up their own scent in the intimate area. The pump mechanism of the packaging works well, and the oil can be used without issues until the end. Savior of dry and atopic skin
In short, this product is perfect. I am quite a demanding consumer when it comes to cosmetics, as I have sensitive and atopic skin. I can rarely use heavily scented or exfoliating products. My skin generally does well in the summer, but it gets irritated when winter comes and the indoor air dries out. In winter, I need a rich face cream that can pack in a lot of extra moisture. I also wear makeup almost daily, and it’s important to me that the skincare products I layer don’t start to roll or flake under the makeup. This cream meets all my needs excellently and is suitable for daily use in winter, morning and evening. It is thick and white when applied, but melts quickly into the skin.
