Background: I have extremely thin and damaged hair and very short hair that easily gets frizzy! I have naturally curly hair that has often been straightened and therefore broken a bit here and there. Also bleached several times. So my hair is not in the best condition. 🙏🏼
So I tried this to see if the hair would feel or look better. And let me just say this shampoo was absolutely fantastic.🥰
I have only used it once since I bought it as it is recommended to use only 1-2 times a week, and let me say my hair felt much “lighter” already after the first wash. I shampooed and left it in for 2 minutes, rinsed, and did it once more because it was my first time using a detox shampoo and I might have had a lot of buildup in my hair. 🙏🏼
And let me say, after the second shampooing, the hair was like new. It was a bit dry BUT so incredibly much lighter. It was like old chemicals and old dirt from the scalp just washed away and it felt like I was touching my real scalp for the first time in years. You know, like a 3-year-old’s scalp when you can really feel every hair strand.
Then I used Joico’s reconstructor from the K-Pak series, the so-called deep-penetrating treatment. And let me say my hair has probably never been this soft before. Applying product after this shampoo was truly life-changing. It was like every product really worked and the hair could really absorb the product properly without just laying on top of the hair.
I also used Bobby’s hydrate shampoo afterwards because a moisturizing conditioner after using Joico’s products is a must to avoid dry hair. Then finished with Olaplex no 6 on towel-dried hair and then when it was a bit dry, Maria Nila oil on the ends to moisturize.
Let me just say my hair has never felt this soft and especially CLEAN before. Really a super good product!!🌟💕
Haven’t noticed anything negative about the product yet as this was my first use! Will update gradually!❤️

Sure, it is very soft and nice on the skin! I have very sensitive skin and haven't gotten any rashes or irritations from the cream, but I wouldn't say it smells particularly good.. Smells like play dough mixed with a very heavy perfume. Not at all my taste, I would rather recommend the other creams that work just as well & have an infinitely better scent!
