This is the first foundation/skin tint/tinted moisturizer/base product I've tried that I both like on my skin, actually use, and think looks natural! The coverage is very light (I would say ”light coverage”), but just enough to even out the skin tone, which is what I primarily look for in a base product. I don’t want to look too made up, and regular foundation has never worked for me, but also because I’m so dry that it gets cakey and everything just clings to dry patches and flakes, etc. So I prefer a more moisturizing product with a glowy or dewy finish, since I’m so dry, and this one was really super! I have sensitive skin and I tend to be sensitive to SPF, and even worse with my eyes (it itches, burns, and I see blurry), but this one is no problem at all, neither for my skin nor my eyes! Which is super, because I have trouble finding an SPF that I can stand to use every day, and on my whole face. It gives a natural and nice glow, but nothing excessive, it doesn’t get shiny or make me look oily. I sometimes powder the t-zone afterwards, very lightly, and then it sits better on the nose especially. I usually apply it mostly with my fingers, and it works really well, brush works very well too, but I don’t think it’s necessary, it’s just as good with fingers and I waste a little less product. I don’t recommend a sponge, it soaks up too much and you can barely see anything on the skin. I’m quite light and have a cool undertone, and shade 01 fits me quite perfectly, especially in winter, but now in summer I’ll probably try 02, alone or mixing with 01. But 01 still works well, I just need to add a little bronzer. It seems that the shades are very “forgiving,” since they have such light coverage, and several different skin tones (close to each other) can use the same shade, I think Nyx themselves say around three skin tones per shade (?). If you have a slightly darker skin tone but cool undertone, it might be a bit harder to find a shade match, as with many other products, unfortunately, there isn’t much to choose from when it comes to cool tones/undertones! Nyx Buttermelt bronzers for example seem to be very warm almost all of them, unfortunately! But this one in 01 works super for cool undertones, and I hope that 02 does too, at least if you can mix the two!

Does it contain Tranexamic acid or not?

Tranexamic acid (TXA) is listed in the ingredients here, but it should be an older version, the latest version should not contain tranexamic acid, according to what I can find, so which one are you selling? If it does not contain tranexamic acid, it would be very good if you change the ingredients here! Many bought this earlier just because of TXA, and do not want the new one without. But regardless, the ingredient list should of course match the product being sold! Maybe especially important when it comes to active ingredients. Thanks in advance!

Hey Linnéa! 👋🏻☺️ Thank you for bringing this to our attention! The latest version of the serum does not contain Tranexamic Acid (TXA), even though it may appear in the ingredient list in some places. Ingredient lists can change over time, so it’s always important to check the contents of the product when you receive it 🩷 Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will take it further! 😍✨ Take care 🩷
