    Gentle AHA

Bought The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner 100 ml in 2024 and still have about half the bottle left. I don't use it that often because I couldn't see much difference on my face. I've switched to using it on my back every now and then. It's gentle on the skin and seems to be usable a bit anywhere on the body. But maybe a bit too gentle for me, as I wanted to see more difference. I use it in the evening and the next day my face is very soft but not so exfoliated, as I can see.. I recommended it to a friend since she has dry skin and she felt it helped her. So I definitely recommend trying it.

    Works just fine

Bought NEONAIL Nail Wrap Foil 100 pcs for the first time. I use them with Gel IQ, and it works well for removal. However, it might be worth buying clips or something to hold the foil tighter against the nail, as they are quite large and need to be folded a bit at the sides. Very affordable – especially compared to Depends own. Will definitely buy again and recommend them - mostly because of the price.

    Good budget mascara

This one is good for its price. I've bought it several times because it gives volume and has a nice black color. I've now switched to "tubing" mascara which is easier to remove. But yes, I recommend it for its price.

    Not the best unfortunately

I bought La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune Ultra Light SPF50+ (50 ml), but it is unfortunately not optimal for oily skin. It surely protects well, but cosmetically it is not the best choice for us with oily skin. It also feels quite... chemical. I get a bit teary-eyed from it. Therefore, I switched to Eucerin Oil Control SPF50+, which neither makes the skin shiny nor feels as chemical – and which also works better for me with sensitive eyes. If I want SPF that is still a bit “dewy”, then Anthelios is still too wet, so I prefer to use SKIN1004.

I don't see that the product does anything.. at all

Bought The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% (30 ml) – and I really don't understand it. It does like... nothing. Absolutely nada. I just felt like I wasted money this time. Do not recommend.

Hi L 🥰 Sometimes a product needs a little time before you see any visible results, and it varies for all of us how products work 🧡 It's a light peptide serum that primarily works on expression lines, and the effect can be subtle. I hope you have another serum that you think gives a bit better results. If you want tips, our skin therapists are always ready to help you find the right one among all the skincare products. No thanks Wella

Do not recommend. Bought Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Shampoo (250 ml) and Conditioner (200 ml). They are not super bad, but simply too expensive for what they do. The shampoo is gentle on the scalp – unlike many other more expensive brands – but it still feels strange to wash my hair with. Did not like the scent either. It reminds me of a drying and dull hotel shampoo, but without actually drying out the hair. Just unnecessarily expensive. I mostly just wanted to finish the bottles. Plus point for the packaging, which is small, convenient, and perfect for traveling.

Helped me with dehydrated and oily skin

Bought SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica First Ampoule (100 ml) – totally incredible product! I’ve tried so much to manage my dehydrated and oily skin, and I never thought that this one would help me the most (along with the yellow Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Nourishing). It actually removed dry patches I’ve had for years. Ironically, the oilier creams didn’t help at all, but this one – which feels and looks like water – did the roughest job. Even now, when I think back, I can hardly believe that the dry patches are still gone. I’ve now switched to the yellow variant from SKIN 1004 (can’t remember the name), as it holds the same nice level but can also be mixed into makeup. Highly recommended!

Best cleanser I've used so far

Bought the Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Nourishing (100 ml) – and I loved it! It's economical and gentle on the skin. I have oily but dehydrated skin that has been incredibly hard to balance, largely because I've previously received tips on cleansers that didn't suit me. I've tried so much, but this one is truly the best. It removes all makeup without drying out the skin – for real. Many other products, especially those from the pharmacy, have dried out my skin, but this 👌🏼 really delivers on its promises. The only negative is the packaging. I would prefer it in a simple tube instead of a jar. It takes up way too much space in my toiletry bag, and it feels impractical to have to bring the whole jar when I travel. I also don't like using the spatula (which does come with it) to scoop out the product – I just want to be able to squeeze out what I need and move on. This is without a doubt the best facial cleanser I've used so far. I won't buy it again solely because of the packaging – but every time I look for a new cleanser, I always compare it to this one.

Gives volume and has a good black color

I really liked the mascara from Idun! It gives full lashes, even though I have quite thin and few. I alternate between this and Panorama from L’Oréal, but I have to say that Idun's gives better volume and also looks blacker 👌🏼 It is also easier to wash off, which I really appreciate. The only negative is that my eyes have sometimes become a little irritated. It feels strange since Idun is sold at pharmacies and should be thoroughly allergy tested. I'm not entirely sure if it's due to the mascara, but I suspect it. I'm thinking of buying it again to see if the irritation returns. Another negative thing is that the mascara, since it is quite voluminous, can become a bit clumpy over time. Therefore, you need to use it sparingly and avoid applying too much, otherwise the lashes can easily clump together.
