Mixed 9-42 and 7-4 in hopes of getting a medium brown somewhat cool shade, but my hair turned dark brown with a lot of red undertones. After washing, my hair is now dark chestnut brown with orange/red undertones. It's a bit hard to know what to do in this situation since I want a medium brown ashy result without going darker.
Otherwise, I'm super happy with igora vibrance, but I should have chosen a 9 instead of 7 since it went completely wrong this time. I recommend going for a much lighter shade than you think. I've previously used 9 on my light brown hair and should have stuck with that.. I'm open to any tips on how to quickly get rid of the color.
