    Question

    Hi, I have combination skin with a tendency for acne and hyperpigmentation and was wondering if this cleanser is good and safe to use? Is it fragrance-free and non-comedogenic? I have previously used La Roche-Posay's Effaclar cleanser and it left my skin a bit dry, plus I'm a little scared to use products with fragrance. Thanks for the help!

    Could this product suit my skin?

    Hi, I have combinated skin with an oily T-zone, tendency for acne and redness and hyperpigmentation. I was just wondering whether this product could suit my skin, given it also contains perfume which could potentially be drying and harmful for my sensitive skin. I’ve heard that drying can potentially lead to more oiliness and acne..?

      Hi Margherita😊 This cleanser can work for combination, acne‑prone, and sensitive skin, but as you are mentioning because it contains perfume and is a foaming gel, it may feel drying to some. Correct, if the skin gets too dry it can start compensating by producing more oil and break outs due to a damaged skin barrier. Pairing it with good hydration afterward and not using daily is key to avoid over‑drying and rebound oiliness.     Hi, I’ve been using The Ordinary’s Niacinamide serum, and was just wondering how this one compares to it? I have combination skin with red hyperpigmentation and pores, so I hope this could help?

      Hi Margherita😊 Thank you for your question✨ By Lyko Sassy Glassy Niacinamide Serum is lighter with around 5% niacinamide, so it’s gentle and hydrating, while The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc is stronger and may help more with pores and redness.     Does it work for combination skin?

    Hi, I was wondering if this cream is suitable for combination skin with a bit of acne and blemish tendency but also with some dry areas? Normally, I use La Roche-Posay's Effaclar foaming cleanser/gel as a face wash and then niacinamide serum and CeraVe moisturizing lotion in the evening, but I've heard a lot of good things about this and that it also helps a bit with acne.

      Hey Margherita ✨ Yes, Cicaplast Balm B5+ can be suitable for combination skin with some acne, but it is quite rich in consistency. ✅ Good for calming irritation, strengthening the skin barrier, and moisturizing dry areas. ⚠️ It can feel heavy/oily on oily skin and in some cases contribute to clogging – it's best to use it on the dry/irritated areas, not necessarily all over the face. 💡 Tip: Test on a small area first, use a thin layer (preferably in the evening), and see how your skin reacts.       Heihei This product contains fragrance but is alcohol-free It depends a bit on how sensitive your skin is! This product is recommended for an oily/combination skin type and can be drying on dry/sensitive skin. The product is not recommended for eczema-prone skin, rosacea, perioral dermatitis, or very sensitive skin.     Blemish control på kombinert hud

    Hei, jeg har kombinert hud med litt oljete t-zone og mest akne rundt munnen. Jeg lurte på om det hadde vært trygt for meg å bruke denne hver dag og evt. to ganger om dagen? Burde jeg kanskje kombinere den med den hydrating gel cleanser av cerave? Bruker SA smoothing cleanser nå og den funker greit, men gjør ikke noe spesielt for huden min. Jeg bruker også et niacinamid serum om kvelden, blir det for mye å bruke sammen med blemish control cleanser?
