    Use without blow drying?

I've started losing a lot of hair. I still have some to work with – at least for now. I probably need to look for products that might stop the hair loss. I have my own curls and prefer not to damage them by blow drying. Can this root lift be used without heat?

Hello Marie! 😊 Yes, you can use Nioxin Root Lifting Spray without blow-drying, but it gives the most lift when activated with heat. For no-heat: spray at the roots on damp hair, work it in with your fingertips and scrunch upwards, feel free to use small root clips at the part while it air-dries and try to touch it as little as possible until it’s completely dry. If you want something that works extra well without blow-drying, you can check out R&Co Bleu Root Booster Volume Spray: lyko.com/sv/rco-bleu/r-co-bleu-root-booster-volume-spray-201-ml - and remember that volume products give a fuller look but do not stop hair loss. Take care! 💛

    Use together with heat?

Yes, the title basically says most of it. I usually avoid blow-drying since my hair is wavy/curly. However, I need more volume in my hair and am considering a mousse that suits naturally curly hair with poor volume. Could this work for me?

Hello Marie! 😊 Joico JoiWhip Firm Hold Design Foam does not need to be activated with heat. You can apply the mousse to towel-dried hair and let the hair air dry or blow dry it – the product provides hold regardless. If you blow dry your hair, you can get more volume and a fuller result, but heat is not required for the mousse to work 👌 Take care! 🤍

Use on wet or dry hair?

I got a tip about this spray from you when I asked for a product that’s easier to apply than the paste from the same brand that I use today. The strange thing is that the answers to the questions here give somewhat mixed messages about how to use it. I always let my hair air dry since I have wavy/curly hair and avoid blow drying. I work in Lanza’s curl gel and scrunch the curls during drying time. If volume is missing (the gel often provides enough volume, at least one or two), I use the brand’s paste, which I love. In other words, I use the product on dry hair, but as answers to several questions below here, you write that it needs to be used with heat tools. Should the spray product be used on wet or dry hair?

Hi Marie! 👋 This is a volume and texture spray used on dry hair 🤍 It contains heat protection – which means you can use it before heat styling for more hold in dry hair – but it’s not necessary to "activate" the product! So you can spray this exactly where in the hair you want volume, both at the roots and in the lengths. It can also be used like dry shampoo – to boost volume between washes when the hair tends to lie flat after sleeping or similar 👌 Hope this was helpful! All the best 🌸

    Comparable product?

Hi! I LOVE this product, but I find it a bit sticky to apply. Is there something similar that is applied to dry hair and comes in spray form?

    So versatile!

Bought this version of Ofra's highlighter after asking here on Lyko about the shade. It gives a strong effect, so you have to be careful and light-handed when using it for everyday wear. It also lasts like a rock; after nine to ten hours, it still looks just as beautiful. I always set my makeup with setting spray, which probably helps. I really like this "palette"! I use the lightest shade in the inner and outer corners of my eyes and near my eyebrows. For my forehead and cheekbones, I quickly and lightly sweep the brush over all four shades to get the perfect highlighter shade for me with a light-medium neutral skin tone. Tip❗️ The shades also work great as eyeshadow. That way, the "palette" serves two functions in one. Even without primer, the "eyeshadow" lasts all day without creasing 😊

    Which shades are neutral?

I find it really hard to choose shades like this online, and many of the foundations I want to try aren’t available in stores near me. It definitely helps if the company indicates whether the shades are warm, cool, or neutral. That way you at least have a bit better conditions 😊 This isn’t indicated here, so I’m wondering which shades are neutral in tone and fall within the light, light-medium, and medium color range 🤔

Hi Marie! 👋🏽 I totally agree with you, it’s tricky to find a shade and color that fits over the internet. Of course, it’s best to test in-store, but I understand that’s not always possible. 🤍 The neutrals are: 000, 22, 33, 111, 122 Hope you find the perfect shade and tone 🤞🏽🥰

    Super nice on

I bought this product elsewhere, but still want to share here how good I think it is 😊 The shade (Kiss of rose) fits perfectly on my neutral, light-medium skin tone as something between bronzer and blush. First, I do contour with a stick from Isadora and then I apply the product a bit lower on the cheek than I normally do with powder blush, but still above the contour I already applied. I blend it up towards the temple. You don’t need much product since it’s quite pigmented. I think it works best when I use my fingers for application, but I like to do that with most cream products. I’ve also tried with a brush, but it feels like it blends in better with fingers. I set my makeup with setting spray and then the product melts into the skin even better, and it lasts all day 👍 This will become an absolute necessity in my makeup routine for a long time to come 😊

What shade is the fifth one?

When I look at the swatches that the model shows in the pictures, I get a bit curious. There are four shades in the compact, but the model shows five. I'm thinking especially of the model with light skin. I already have one of the shades, but I find it a bit too pink and cool. I love the highlighter and now wonder what the 5th shade that the model shows (farthest up on the arm from the hand's view) is called? I think it seems to be the perfect shade for me with a neutral skin tone. I will probably buy another one that is darker, but still neutral, when I get more tanned. Which one fits best then (still fairly neutral)?

Hey there Marie! 👋 So fun that you are interested in this 😍 I understand your confusion! The product contains four different shades. The fifth one you see on the arm is named just like the product "All of the lights", which is a blend of all four 🤍✨ If you buy this product, you will get the shade you are looking for 😍 Once you have a bit more color, I would recommend the shade "Glow Goals" 👇 lyko.com/sv/ofra-cosmetics/ofra-x-nikkie-tutorials-glow-goals Take care!

    Just like that

I bought the pencil to complement my regular highlighter in the places where I wanted to be a bit more precise in my application. This is especially true for the eyebrows, the inner corner of the eyes, and the upper lip. Sure, it adds a bit of color, but you have to use the pencil many times on the same spot. The color is really good, brightening without becoming glittery. But it takes a toll on the pencil with each makeup application, and I have to sharpen it quite often. I also wish there was only one color in the pencil. I almost only use the lightest one, so I wonder when I have sharpened the pencil down so much that only the other color is left.

    Almost perfect mascara!

When I saw that these products (primer and mascara) had come to Lyko, I had to try them. Normally, I use Lancome and Sensai, but they are quite expensive. Who doesn't want to find cheaper alternatives to their favorites 😊 Now, Fenty isn't much cheaper, but they are at least just as good. I've already reviewed the primer, and now it's the mascara's turn. I have short and sparse eyelashes, but you can't tell when I wear this mascara. The brush is easy to work with, it picks up just the right amount of product, and you don't need many strokes for the lashes to look full and long. It also stays on really well all day, and the lashes are still nicely curled in the evening, but... The only downside is that it's not waterproof. It holds up for a normal day if it weren't for the fact that I need to use eye drops sometimes. I really wish it came in a waterproof version but still be just as good. Then it would have gotten five ⭐️, and I would have never used any other mascara!
