    Favorite leave-in!!!

Hair bandage balm leave-in: That's a product that made a huge difference in my hair! Packaging: it's a jar like most hair pomades, I'm not sure if it is the best for applying, I don't like dipping my fingers in the product. Fragrance: it's the standard from the line. Good but does not linger too long, unfortunately in my opinion. Texture: the only way I can explain is a light paste to oil texture. Very lightweight. Results: my hair looked shinier, less frizzy for several days. I loved it. I had used the tube leave-in of the line before, but did not have the same results. I let my hair air-dry, and it did not dry super frizzy, which is a mega plus for me, since I dislike having to use heat to style my hair every time I wash it. But it's supposed to be a thermal protector too, so plus points! I experience it to be very light weight, long lasting results, good smell. I needed to use more than a pea size, let's say I used twice the recommended, and yet my hair wasn't heavy, sticky or anything like it. My hair was very smooth, shiny and less frizzy. I seriously went 4 days between washes and it held the frizz pretty well. Vurderingen ble gjennomført på oppdrag fra Smartson – testpersonen har fått prøve produktet kostnadsfritt.

    Conditioner

It’s a pretty standard conditioner in terms of texture, application, and results. Same packaging, fragrance as the shampoo. It aligned my hair strands without having to use a lot of it. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product free of charge.

    Shampoo

Packaging: pretty standard packaging, I just don’t get the design with the spout on the top, maybe it would work for more liquid formulas? Idk Fragrance: I really like it, it’s citric, it’s not super strong or something I would get tired of. I just wish it lasted longer after rinsing. I could almost not smell it after rinsing. Texture: the texture is some kind of a gelatinous liquid, it’s nice, you don’t need liters of the product to lather well and cover and clean the whole hair. Results: I have medium long hair and one shampooing with not much product was enough to clean the whole hair. After rinsing I experienced it does help to align the hair strands, making it easier to apply the conditioner afterwards. Best product in the series, but not enough

Leave-in: Packaging: plus points for being pump, I would prefer a sleeker and taller bottle to fit in my cupboard, but it’s functional. Lacks the entirety of instructions of how to apply for better results. Fragrance: the same as the line. Good, luxurious, entangling. As intense as the shampoo, which is good for a leave-in, since it is the smell that actually will be lasting on your hair. Texture: a creamy leave-in. Heavier than most leave-ins but this one should deliver hydration, so it is as expected. It is denser, so I was afraid in putting too much product and get my hair too heavy and greasy, but that did not happen. Plus points for that too. Results: together with the rest of the line, it did not deliver the expected results. As a frizzy thick hair, I expected more hydration and moisture locking action. That did not happen at all. I tested as I would normally use during summer, without heated styling, and the results were very disappointing. Maybe I used it the wrong way, I don’t know, the brand does not provide instructions on their packaging. But I would not buy this product to solve frizz, as I use other products that are cheaper that achieve that goal. It’s sad, because the fragrance is amazing, and the brand carries a weight of quality and good R&D. But this line did nothing for my hair either than letting it smell good. Good smell but not hydrating

Mask: Packaging: beautiful design, with an inside lid that protects the mask to get water from the shower. Not very ergonomic to have on the shower cabinet. It does not contain instructions on how to better use the mask (minutes to leave before rinsing etc). Fragrance: the same luxurious citrusy floral from the shampoo, however more subtil. I did not feel that the fragrance from the mask penetrate a lot on my hair. Texture: it is a dense cream, difficult to scoop with nail extensions 😅. Results: not hydrating, not aligning/untangling, not conditioning and not frizz reducing. Kérastase does not have a conditioner in their lines, just the mask, therefore I expected it to both hydrate and align/Untangle as other masks and regular conditioners do to my hair. It was not a good sensorial experience to apply and rinse. I could already feel that this line would not do anything for my frizzy hair. Note that I use good products from before and had better results with more affordable lines and products. It was just an overall disappointment. Not hydrating enough

Shampoo: Packaging: Beautiful design, however it misses instructions to better use the product. It portions the shampoo well, but I personally prefer pump bottles. Fragrance: I very much like it, citrusy and floral on the right measure. Luxurious. Texture: It is a pearlescent shampoo, it’s creamier than transparent ones. To be considered a crème, I expected it to be creamier and denser as my Metal DX from L'Oreal. Results: Not at all as expected. The shampoo cleaned very well, but did not take care of the frizz. But as said, I expected it creamier and denser, and in this sense, that would lather more. I had to use more product than I am used on the extension of my hair. During rinsing process I already felt that it would not be as hydrating as I expected, because with my other products, at rinsing, I can already feel my hair aligning and untangling. This is an extra problem since Kérastase does not have conditioner in their lines, just masque (which I also used and will do a review on this website too). As the before and after pictures can show, the frizz is not going away. I really wanted this to be the product I could use this summer without having to hot styling my hair.... But it is just not worth it. High price and does not deliver what it is promised. My hair gets more hydrated and less frizzy with other products, like the Metal DX from L'Oreal Professional. Points only for the sensorial experience of the fragrance. The evaluation was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product for free.
