What’s the hype?
I don’t really get the hype with this? Sure, the makeup sets like a rock, it really does. …But it makes the makeup base crack/flake, so the makeup looks shabby after a while. I first thought I had used too much, so I tried using less but got the same result then. I also find it annoying that the contents of the bottle separate when it’s left standing between uses. It’s also hard to mix it again even if you struggle to shake the bottle. I prefer the NYX setting spray “01 matte finish” over this. Awesome mascara at a budget price
Totally crazy?! I've been using mascara from Lancôme (hypnôse waterproof 001 Black) for a long time. I've been satisfied with the results from it, but the price relative to how long it lasted bothered me a bit. I had heard that Essence was a good budget option, so I thought "why not give it a try?". What luck! I will be buying this from now on! For everyday use, one layer works fine, and it gives a careful application that results in a more natural look. For parties, I go for a bit more, and it delivers more dramatic lashes. I think it's uncomplicated; it has a smooth brush, and the lashes don't clump together. Covering & matte!
I don't have many other brands to compare with, but I am satisfied with this product! When I used the NYC suede matte lipstick in the shade “girl, bye,” my lips became dry after a day, so I haven't been able to use it for a while. I don't experience that problem with this shade even though it is matte. It is very covering. The color is more of a sharp red and not as deep and disturbing red as I had wished. It holds quite well, but it does transfer and needs to be reapplied. 100% a favorite. You can feel how it does its job already when you apply the peeling gel to your face and feel how the stuff that gets cleaned up collects in the gel. When I rinsed off after the first use, my skin was incredibly much smoother. It is fragrance-free and feels gentle yet effective at the same time. I have used it for a longer time, 1-2 times/week. I had two larger pores that have become noticeably smaller over time. I’m not a girl with a skincare routine, so everything should preferably go quickly & smoothly, which this product does perfectly. Excellent!
I love this! It smells like self-tanner but not as strong as others. You can clearly see where you apply it, which helps to get it even. I find that the working time is longer than they state. If you wash it off after 1 hour, the result is not visible. I usually apply it in the evening and then sleep with it to wash it off in the morning. It does transfer onto bed linens but comes off easily in the wash. I think it holds well, you can build on it if you want. I find that the color turns out in a perfect brown shade, not at all orange. The best part is that it dries quickly and is not sticky! When I've had it on and impulsively wanted to wear shorts, I've sometimes applied it before leaving home and let it work during the day, which has also worked both in the process and in appearance. You have to be careful not to get water on yourself because then it will obviously be splotchy. I also use it on my face, which has worked well. I don't apply it on my hands. I don't find that it gets splotchy on knees & elbows. Best glue
I use this daily and would never be convinced to switch! The consistency is just right, making it easy to handle and it contains a lot of product so it lasts forever. The glue is white so you can see where you apply it, when it dries it becomes transparent and is not visible at all. It holds well all day and is easy to wash off. I primarily use this for lashes, especially individual ones, but I have also tested applying it to the whole or parts of the eyelid to then attach glitter, which it is also really good for! It is also great for Halloween makeup! The drying time until it is completely dry is a bit longer, but the lash stays well during the process and I have never experienced the drying time to be a problem. After about 5 minutes, I can usually apply mascara without the lash moving. The opening of the tube is quite long and tapered, which makes application easier. However, I find that a little glue always dries over time in the opening, which can make it a bit tricky to get the product out sometimes. Favorite!
It basically holds everything it promises! It is moisturizing, has an anti-frizz effect, makes hair shinier and softer. I find that it is a good heat protectant, however, it does not specify to what degree it protects, which I think is poor. I usually run it at 180 degrees, at this temperature it sprays excellently. I find that it prevents hair from reverting to its natural form in humid weather after styling. I use it after every wash, whether I'm styling my hair or not, just because I like the properties it has and what it does for my hair. It gives results without feeling like you have product in your hair. I like my own natural waves better since I started using this, just because it makes my hair softer, shinier & less frizzy! It says you only need to use it after every 3-4 washes, I haven't evaluated this, but in my ears, it doesn't sound reasonable that all properties would last that long. It is easy & smooth to apply. It has a wide spray that provides good distribution. The content is fragrance-free. Holds well throughout the day without flaking. Fulfills the waterproof function well, to the point that it is difficult to wash off completely without a product that contains oil. It was not a mascara that suited me. Sharp and works well! Easy to clean. Both a pro and a con that it is so small. It's convenient to carry, but it doesn't hold much. Incredible Longevity
This is, in my opinion, a powerful perfume, only a little is needed as the scent is very pronounced. The scent lasts all day. If you spray it on, for example, a scarf, it lasts for several days. I find the scent to be quite "sharp" and floral. Even though the fragrance notes are combined, it’s probably primarily Jasmine that stands out. After a few hours, I think it gets better, as it settles a bit and the sweet scent is more pronounced. When I bought this, I accidentally bought the wrong one; I thought I was buying another of Lancôme's perfumes. In my taste, it’s a bit too sharp; I prefer and recommend instead Lancôme La vie est belle Soleil Cristal, which is significantly softer and sweeter in its scent. I have never received so many lovely compliments as I have since I started using La vie est belle Soleil Cristal.
