Not for me…
Well, let me just say that this was an experience I will never repeat. I went in with high hopes – thought I would get silky smooth skin and feel like a Greek god. Instead, I ended up with something that felt like the gates of the underworld had opened… right into my nether regions. Let’s start with the positives: the packaging is nice, and it doesn’t smell as bad as other hair removal creams. But that’s also where the positives stop. I’ve always thought I had a pretty high pain threshold (I’ve survived both waxing and heartbreak, like), but after 3 minutes with this cream, I literally had to throw in the towel – or rather, the showerhead. I’ve never had an area on my body that feels like sandpaper and burns like chili in the eyes at the same time. And let’s not talk about when water came into contact afterward – it was like an explosion of pain. Who needs roller coasters when you can have this experience at home in the bathroom? So no, this is not for me. Maybe it works for others with tough skin, but I’m going to stick to the razor from now on. Lesson: sometimes it’s best to leave things as they are.
