Is this a good detox shampoo?

Hi, I'm wondering if this is a good detox shampoo for me. My hair is quite dry and low porosity. Thick, wavy, and frizzy, just so you know. But I'm afraid to use detox because I know it's quite strong. But from the ingredients, it seems good? Is it too drying? I also know that you should use a hair mask afterwards. What do you think? I think I get a lot of build-up from all the products I use, not sure if small white flakes that itch a bit could be that. Or maybe it's just dry scalp.

    Will it work for me?

My scalp itches quite a bit, I have small white flakes which are signs of dry scalp. Frizzy hair in general and quite thick, and wavy. Low porosity if that means anything. Based on the ingredients and a bit of hair. Will it work well?

Hi Rikke! This could be a good alternative for you, as it contains glycerin which helps retain moisture, as well as piroctone olamine which counteracts dandruff and can relieve itching 🌾 Since the shampoo contains fragrance, it may still irritate a sensitive scalp. For your thick, wavy, and frizzy hair, I recommend supplementing with a moisturizing conditioner on the lengths 💧 All the best!

Who is it best suited for?

Would this be optimal for dry hair that gets frizzy quickly? I have low porosity, so products often sit on top of my hair. This one is supposed to provide a lot of moisture, and based on the ingredients, I'm just a bit unsure if it's best suited for me? I also have quite thick and wavy hair! The other one, e.g. banana hair food, was probably a bit too heavy for me!

Hi Rikke! 👋💗 It can suit your thick, wavy, and frizzy hair since it adds moisture and makes the hair softer. 💗 Since Banana Hair Food was a bit too heavy for your hair, I recommend you start using this as a conditioner or rinse-out hair treatment so the hair doesn’t get weighed down. 🌾 Take care! 🍂

Does this work for dry hair?

Hi, I’m wondering if this can be used as a cleansing/detox shampoo? I have dry hair and need to be careful with what I use so it doesn’t dry out my hair even more. I have quite a bit of build-up, so it would be great to have one that helps with that! If it helps, my hair is also thick and has low porosity!

Hi Rikke! đŸ’ƒđŸœ Yes, QBA Clarifying Shampoo can definitely work as a clarifying shampoo to remove product buildup and deposits from the hair. Since you have thick hair with low porosity but also dry hair, I would recommend using it as needed rather than with every wash. The shampoo also contains aloe vera and oats, but it’s not possible to guarantee that it won’t dry out the hair, especially since it contains relatively strong cleansing ingredients. My tip is to focus the washing mainly on the scalp and let the foam cleanse the hair strands when you rinse it out. Feel free to follow up with a moisturizing conditioner or a hair mask on the strands to help the hair retain its softness. đŸ„° Have a nice day! 🌞
