Maybelline delivers as usual
My usual go-to mascara is a Maybelline, though not this one, but Maybelline delivers. I find this mascara more lengthening than volumizing. It takes 3 coats for me to achieve the volume I usually get with 1 coat of my regular mascara. But this one has the same dry formula that makes the lashes not feel completely wet when applying, which I really like. The brush is big but easy to use even on the small lashes in the inner corner of the eye. The waterproofness works brilliantly and on day 2 I only need to touch up a little to be ready for the day. I generally prefer non-waterproof mascaras, but other than that I can definitely see myself buying this in the future. Mixed feelings
This is a product that gives me very mixed feelings. I stopped using foundation and similar products because I felt they just clogged my pores and gave me pimples. I haven't experienced that with this one, which has been a big plus. Plus also for the SPF. It is very transparent and barely provides any coverage, but still evens out the skin tone a bit without it looking like you've used any product. However, I don't like how it sticks to my hands and that I really have to go wash my hands immediately because I'm so sticky. I would have preferred a more matte finish; now I just feel shiny and have therefore also used powder to mattify it. Overall, I don't dislike the product, but I also don't think it really added anything for me. Yes to blush, no to lips
I've probably never come across such a creamy product. It feels luxurious to use. I would have preferred it to be a stick so you wouldn't have to use your fingers though. I've never liked using blush, but this one applies very nicely and gives just the right flush without feeling artificial. Definitely something I will continue with. I don't like it on the lips, it just feels sticky and keeps transferring onto glasses, cups, and if you happen to touch your lips with your hand. Gets the job done
Lip pencil that is very easy to apply. Creamy and pleasant. Have used it together with lipstick that was quite close in shade and think it worked very well. The best lipstick I've tried
I actually like everything about this lipstick, and I usually don't wear lipstick because I feel sticky and the lipstick "shines." That's not the case with this one. The color is lovely, enough to make you feel pretty and dressed up but not over the top like a red lipstick often can be. I really like the matte finish, and after a while, the lipstick has "dried" and barely transfers. I don't feel like I need to touch it up more than a few times during the day, like after lunch, but I could skip it and still have lipstick left at the end of the day, I'm sure. No thanks
This is a product that really doesn't impress. It has nice packaging, but that's where it ends. As soon as you open the bottle, you're met with an unpleasant artificial scent, and when applying, I almost expect my lips to start tingling/stinging/burning because that's what comes to mind after smelling it. The color looks one way in the bottle, another on the applicator, a different way when it first goes on the lips, and then it changes color. At first, it's glossy as promised, then it turns matte. The color shifts from peach to deep red. No matter how long I wear the product, my lips continue to feel sticky. After a fairly short time, the color has completely disappeared, leaving patches that look like chipped paint. No, this is not something I think is worth spending money on. The idea of a lip stain is that it should last longer than both lip gloss and lipstick, but this actually lasts the shortest. No fan
A product meant to be used around the eyes should not have a formula that stings if you accidentally get it in your eyes. There should also not be sharp areas on the stick that are meant for massaging. I got scratched several times around my eyes, nothing in the weeks I tested it. I also didn't really understand the instructions for application, it feels like a lot of product comes out when you do all three steps. Being all sticky around the eyes makes it hard to apply makeup. I feel like the mascara holds worse when you have the product on your eyelashes, which feels impossible not to get. I also don't notice any change around my eyes during the time I tested the product. Why do I have this?
I don't really understand what the product is supposed to add, I don't think this does anything for me. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I notice no difference in my skin. The lines are just as visible as before and I don't experience any increased firmness. Day Cream
I usually don't use day cream, but if I were to, it wouldn't be this one. There has been no change in my lines during the weeks I've used it. Also, it crumbles. I first thought it was because I was using too much, but no matter how little I took, it still crumbles. Night Cream
I usually don't use night cream, so I don't have much to compare it to. I don't dislike it, but I also haven't noticed any change/improvement in my skin. The fact that I haven't gotten any acne despite using it every night must still be seen as a plus, my pores are usually sensitive to getting clogged.
