    Help

Hi! I have previously used Redken's color extend magnetics series. Then I switched to Kerastase's curl manifesto series. Recently, I've been feeling that my hair feels "tired" and rough/frizzy even though I use the entire series with masks etc. I use heat tools very rarely. I bleach and color my hair at the salon every 4-6 months and have curly (2C-3A) hair. Which series would suit me best? Is this one good? I want something color-protecting and caring as well as moisturizing. Best regards.

Hey Selma! Even though Curl Manifesto is a nice series, it is primarily formulation-wise lighter and more focused on definition & control, not on deep nourishment. After prolonged use, the hair can start to feel undernourished, especially with colored curls. It's like your hair is crying out for Repair and intense moisture 💧 Redken All Soft Mega Curls is a very good choice for you right now, you get both softness, moisture, and gentle color care 😍 If you want to take it a step further, you can combine it with, for example, Redken Acidic Bonding shampoo or add a color-preserving mask from Chroma Absolu. lyko.com/sv/redken/redken-acidic-bonding-concentrate-shampoo-300-ml lyko.com/sv/kerastase/k-rastase-chroma-absolu-masque-chromafiller-200ml Feel free to check out our hair test for the best possible help 🩷 lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan2 All the best 🥰

    Primer

Hey! I have this and have tried using it both without a primer and with Smashbox Photofinish and YSL Top Secret primer. Regardless of preparation, I find that the foundation wears off after only about 2 hours. Of course, I prep with skincare beforehand. I've also tried applying with both my hands, a brush, and a beautyblender. Otherwise, I have pretty normal skin and no major issues. What am I doing wrong?

Hey Selma The reason your foundation doesn’t want to stay on during the day could be due to a few different reasons, and you might need to test things out to find what works for you Since you’ve already tried different primers and applications, my biggest tip is to take a look at your skincare routine, especially if it’s a problem you’re experiencing with other foundations as well. It sounds like the products you’re using beforehand could either be too moisturizing so that your foundation doesn’t really adhere to the skin, or not moisturizing enough so that your skin is sucking up your foundation If you’re currently using a thinner type of gel cream, I would recommend trying a richer, more moisturizing cream and see if your foundation lasts longer. If you’re currently using a thicker cream, I would recommend trying a thinner, more gel-based cream. Feel free to email us at fraga@lyko.se with more information about which products you’re using these days so we can take a closer look at more recommendations Good luck! ✨
