Maple Latte
Finally a proper brown lip stain! 🥹 I used to often use Clarins Water Lip Stain in the color 12 Brown Water before, but for some reason they replaced it with Nude Water.. And since then I haven't found a lip stain that's similar.. But this one from e.l.f reminds me a lot of it, just that this one is a bit cooler, which I really like 😍 I like to use it as a lipliner/lip contour under a lipgloss-stain, and then I top up with colored lip balm, lip gloss, or lip oil during the day to make the color last longer. Black Brown & Burgundy
You get an incredible amount for your money here! 🫶 It doesn’t weigh down, spreads the lashes very nicely, and stays up all day! I see some people write that it crumbles around the eyes during the day, but I haven’t had that problem. I’ve attached a picture showing both colors on the eyes, and I’ve also swatched the mascaras on my hand to show the difference between the colors of these two, the Catrice Hyper Lash mascaras, and a black mascara on the side. Both these from essence and those from catrice have become my favorites, and I think they’re much better than all the other more expensive brands I’ve used before! To keep the lashes up and not weighed down, I always start by applying a thin layer on each eye. Then I work back and forth until I’m happy with the volume and length. Skin Like Tinted Moisturizer 020N
This gives a nice and natural coverage that can be built up. I struggle with a bit of dry skin on the sides of my nose but this does not highlight it. C01 Too Tan To Handle
I had hoped this would resemble the Catrice Melted Sun Liquid Bronzer in 005 Tan Lines, but unfortunately it is much warmer. It is described as a cool, ash brown color – which it absolutely is not on my pale skin (I have a neutral undertone). The color discrepancy brings this down to 4 stars for me. The formula itself and the packaging deserve praise though! It applies beautifully on the skin, blends super easily, and you get a full 24 ml in a very nice pump bottle. Very good heat protection, my curls hold very well throughout the day (I don’t use hairspray). It feels very light and doesn’t weigh the hair down at all. My hair also doesn’t get stiff, dry, or sticky; it kind of feels like I have nothing in my hair. I also like that it doesn’t contain silicones so it doesn’t cause buildup in the hair, yet still protects well. It has a slightly alcohol-like smell right when you spray it in the hair, but it disappears almost immediately, so it doesn’t bother me. Colour Glaze Lip Tint
These give a nice and even stain that lasts very well. They feel soft and comfortable on the lips, not sticky at all 💖 If I use lip gloss/lip balm over it during the day, it usually suffices to just add a small dab of the lip stain 1-2 times throughout the day 🫶 Since they are very pigmented, I like to apply a thin layer on the lower lip and spread it out for a more natural result.
