    It is what it is

The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free. I received the color 07 Jelly Blushing. And I tested it with the Nyx Lingerie Liner Stain in the color Cuff me. Personally, I probably wouldn't have paired this gloss with that lip liner. I would have wished for a liiitle more pigment in the gloss, as the lip liner became a bit sharper in color, which became clear when the gloss "disappeared" from the lips. The gloss is soft and comfortable, but I don't think it had that much of a "glass finish". I needed to apply a bit too much for that effect, I think. But not very long-lasting. Like any lip gloss really. The applicator wasn't super comfortable, but felt precise and easy to use.

    Meh

The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot got to try the product for free. I had high expectations for this. Shook it well, closed my eyes, and sprayed. But nah, hello?! Uneven spray, big wet drops landing on my face. I have to sit and wave my hands for it to dry and not risk my foundation running. I wished for a finer mist, a slightly more upscale spray. When it finally dried, I felt like it was tightening a bit on my face. However, the makeup stayed put despite sweating at the movies.

    Over Expectations

The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot got to try the product for free. When I received the package and saw the little bottle, I thought, "but dear me, there wasn't much in it". I had to eat my words. I dropped a drop into my brand new foundation brush and dabbed the drop on one side of my face, then "stippled" in the foundation properly. 3 drops were enough for the whole face. The color was perfect. 👌🏻 I felt like I had no foundation on my face at all. Lightweight, soft, not dry, a soft glow despite the matte finish. I usually am a big fan of more mattifying foundations, but I tend to avoid those that are more full coverage. If I scrutinize my face after application, I can see all my peach fuzz, but I still think that's reasonable. But wow, it turned out so pretty. I primed with Nyx Glue primer, finished with Nyx Face glue setting spray. In the picture, I'm wearing Maybelline's Sunkisser Blush in the shade 5 Blazing Blush. Nyx The Brow Glue Instant Styler in the shade 2 Taupe. I went to the movies, cried two tears, and the makeup was still perfect. I recommend 🫶🏻

    Nice but not my thing

The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free. I think for starters that the design of the bottle is really fun. And that the primer is as white as school glue. It feels a bit weird when I squeezed out a strand on my finger and distributed the primer on my face. 😅 I find it quite economical, feels comfortable on the skin, and gives a nice glow. It absorbed quickly into the skin and felt less sticky than I expected. However, I would have wished it was more blurring, as I have some visible pores. So unfortunately, it's not a favorite I will buy.

    Holds what it promises

I got to test it via #reviewclub I don't really use much hairspray anymore since my hair doesn't really like it. But I gave it a chance. I have ear-length hair, but machine-cut underhair. And I'm allergic to having my bangs in my eyes. So after testing Taft aloe boost texturing spray, I tried this hairspray in my bangs and a little in the top hair. The hairspray provided hold, smells good, and leaves no white residue. My hair looked fresh and shiny. And no bangs in my eyes all day. 👌🏻. A budget-friendly alternative.

    Smells fantastic

I got to test it via #reviewclub I have ear-length hair with machine-cut underhair. But still thick, smooth, and requires a lot of product. Since I have my hair a bit grown out, I usually don't use wax/paste in dry hair, but I usually distribute it in towel-dried hair. I'm also allergic to bangs in my eyes. 😅 The first time I distributed Taft aloe paste in damp hair, I probably overdosed. The hair became heavy and a bit too “sticky”. After half a day, the feeling of dirty hair started to creep in. It itched on the scalp and I felt uncomfortable. But I didn't give up. The next time I distributed less product in my hair and was much more satisfied with the result. No bangs in the eyes and the hair became shiny and looked fresh. If I had a pixie cut, that product would have been perfect. The hair can be restyled, and the paste doesn't get hard. I almost think it should have a strength of 4 instead of 3. A plus for the scent. Light, fresh, and unisex.

    Satisfied, but…

I got to test it via #reviewclub I had high expectations for this. I have hair that goes right to my ears and have short undercut. It’s thick, smooth, and requires a lot of product even though the hair is thinned out. I’ve tested it 4 times on dry hair, and to get the result I want, I’ve already used up half a bottle. But other than that, it’s a good budget-friendly product. The hair gets a bit stiffer, as it should. It doesn’t go flat and dull. The hair still moves, looks well-groomed and healthy. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a new bottle even though my hair requires a lot.

    Like

Got the chance to test via Review Club I have always been a bit fond of Lumene's products, but have always been too stingy. So I was really happy when I got the chance to test this. I had their facial water for sensitive skin previously. I have previously had The Ordinary's hyaluronic serum, but I think Lumene's was much nicer in both consistency and feel. 4 drops of Lumene were enough for the whole face. It "spread" easily, and I managed to get the product on my face before it was absorbed. I have combined it with moisturizer and eye cream from the pharmacy. Got a nice, just right glow, and in the morning my skin still felt soft. A plus for the serum's scent, fresh, without being too much. I have also tested combining it with Neutrogena salicylic acid serum and face cream. Get a bit bumpy around "shark week". Even bumpy skin needs moisture. I can admit that I don't have much of a morning routine, I get up at 3:55 AM on the days I work, so I mostly take care of my skin in the evening #reviewclub.

    Hello!

I got the chance to test via Review Club. I have always pampered my hair with a few more expensive products, like Schwarzkopf Bonacure Repair Rescue Treatment. But I really liked this little gem. The formula felt like a slightly gel-like lubricant between my hands. 🫣 When the product is worked into the hair, a thin film is left on the hands. It didn’t feel heavy or greasy in the hair, which looks shiny and healthy. Reminds me a bit of all the silicone drops that were super popular in the 90s. (Yep, I’m that old 😅) And the fact that the bottle is glass makes it feel a bit more luxurious. 🤩 I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this stays on the market for a long time 👌🏻 #reviewclub
