Escentric Molecules started their journey in the world of fragrance with a unique aroma molecule, namely Iso E Super. Iso E Super is not found in nature but was created in a laboratory in 1973 and was almost unknown to the outside world until the German perfumer Geza Schön launched Molecule 01 and Escentric 01.
Soon they were joined by several unique creations and today you will find a wide range of these scents which are often described as a "sensation", an "impression" or a "feeling" rather than an actual perfume.
Molecules and Escentric Molecules are two different fragrance series that differ from each other in several ways. The Molecules series is known for having a simple, minimalist approach to fragrances. Each perfume in the series contains only a single molecule that makes up the entire scent. The molecules are designed to interact with the natural scent of one's skin and create a personal fragrance that is unique to each person. This results in a more subtle and discreet scent that is less prominent than traditional perfumes. On the other hand, the Escentric Molecules series is known for being more complex and intense. Each perfume in the series still contains a single molecule, but there are also other ingredients added to enhance and highlight the scent of the molecule. Escentric Molecules fragrances are designed to be more prominent and emit a larger scent trail. In general, it can be said that Molecules fragrances are more subtle and personal, while Escentric Molecules fragrances are more prominent and complex.
