It covers all my blemishes really well. It is very thick so not maybe the best for under eyes, but it does work in that area as well. What I find is that this dries very fast, so you wanna move pretty quickly and blend pretty much as soon as you've applied it. If it sits on the skin too long, it might dry down so much that it's hard to blend. On my dry skin, this lasts well all day. If you have oilier skin, I don't know how it will perform for you. I love that the shade range is really inclusive of pale skin tones! But it absolutely does not work for me. I don't know if it's because I have very dry and very sensitive skin. But it became very cakey and dry. I also thought it was quite annoying because I noticed I got a lot of pimples after using this. If you want your concealer to give more brightening, I would also recommend looking at shade 80, as it has a light tone with a rosy peach undertone. According to the product description, Silky Blur Hydrating Longwear Concealer is designed to cover imperfections and dark circles under the eyes. The texture is light and liquid, coverage is medium and buildable, and the finish is a silky natural matte. One reviewer says it’s pigmented and quite thick and dries quickly, so it’s best to blend it right after application. I can’t compare it to your old Essence Correct & Conceal product, so try first how it works on your skin.
