It contains the patented and technically advanced filtering system Mexoryl® XL that offers reinforced protection against UV rays and prevents burns caused by UVB rays, as well as premature aging caused by UVA rays.

The Mexoryl filters act by absorbing UVA and UVB rays. Together they create a very high level of protection.

The filters are photostable and maintain effective protection during the whole period of sun exposure.

In 1993, Mexoryl® SX became the first photostable UVA filter to protect against short UVA rays.

In 1998, Mexoryl® XL became the first photostable filter to protect against UVA and UVB.
