Not what I was hoping for
Iâve been wanting these for a long time and finally went for it, but I was disappointed. I havenât bought such "sticks" before, maybe I had the wrong expectations or am doing something wrong? They are very sticky with a greasy surface. The blush has poor pigment (I applied blush and contour with the same pressure in the picture). When I blend it out, you can hardly see anything, and blending less doesnât work because then Iâm sticky. Even after Iâve blended, it still feels a bit sticky. The contour has much more pigment but is just as sticky. A small dab is enough for a large area, but I feel like itâs mostly the warm pigment that remains. A blush that lasts
I've always used powder blush, and no matter which brand I've tried, I find that it doesn't last very long. So I decided to try blush in stick form, and I'm very happy! It lasts all day, not just a few hours. It's not extremely pigmented, so the color needs to be built up a bit, but I actually think that makes it easier to work with. Almost perfect
A very good blush stick that has become a new favorite âš I have (way too) many blushes in different textures (powder, stick, cream, liquid) but prefer creamy blush for easy and seamless application. I also think the result looks most natural that way. I have two colors of this, but Soft Brown is the favorite! Itâs a dupe for Rhodeâs pocket blush in toasted teddy, so thatâs a plus. Itâs a warm reddish brown and gives the perfect sun-kissed effect. Light glossy finish that dries to a satin finish.
