Good salt spray with nice scent

The Dude Cloud Saltwater Spray from Waterclouds comes in a stylish golden and transparent spray bottle. The saltwater spray has a masculine but quite light scent that I really like. I've tested it for two weeks, and it is quite strongly stabilizing, a bit like hairspray. And it gives a little extra volume. So I've used it alone and without having any other styling product in my hair, it works and provides stability. I get a feeling of high quality, and it is not particularly sticky. It is economical, I used too much at first, one pump is enough. I am a 52-year-old man with medium-length hair who uses salt spray often. This is a product I would like to continue using, the price for 150 ml is a bit high, but it lasts long. #lykoinflutester #waterclouds

    "Beach hair" in a bottle

Have you ever experienced how amazing your hair gets after a whole day at the beach? You can now recreate that lovely feeling and look with this wonderful saltwater spray from #WATERCLOUDS. The product comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a spray function. It has a lovely masculine scent with a mix of both sweet and smoky notes, I would best describe it. With its golden details on the outside and not least the water itself, you get a feeling of a sleek and exclusive product. The salt spray has a pretty intense spray function that makes it difficult to distribute the water evenly over the entire hair without overdosing. But this can easily be remedied by spreading the product with your hands and slightly dampening the hair beforehand. After blow-drying, magic has been created when the hair has transformed from flat and lifeless to the exact opposite. Volume and texture mixed with thickness and a matte finish is what you can expect with this salt spray, no feeling of dryness and stiffness. You get just the right amount of hold to keep the hair up and looking natural all day. For someone like me with thick and dry hair, I often find that saltwater sprays either make no difference at all or dry out the hair and give a crispy feeling that makes it uncomfortable to run your fingers through. Aside from the somewhat poor spray distribution, I find no direct downsides to this salt spray. 199 kr for 150 ml is quite standard and can be considered a reasonable price. Personally, I prefer fragrance-free products as my scalp is sensitive, but the scent of this one is not overly strong, so it works anyway. So if you like the feeling of "beach hair", masculine scents, and especially if you have slightly thinner hair, you will love this saltwater spray. #LYKOINFLUTESTER

    Skivebom

My experience with hair products; I have used hair wax, hairspray, and saltwater spray for many years. However, in the last 2 years, I haven't used it to the same extent as I have changed my hairstyle, so I have tested the products on my type, which has short, thick, wavy hair. I can't give the design of this bottle much credit. Gold-colored letters on a transparent bottle with yellow contents? It doesn't look particularly nice, and it's not particularly easy to read what it says on it. Another thing is that I find it a bit strange that the 3 products have such different packaging to be in the same series, I would have liked to have them more uniform. This smelled like alcohol from the first spray, it maybe had a hint of the same scent as the others, but the alcohol scent overshadowed it. By checking the ingredient list, I see that alcohol is number 2 on the list, compared to my other saltwater spray that has no alcohol at all. This will, based on experience, dry out the hair quite a bit, so I especially wouldn't recommend this if you already have dry hair. I like to spray directly into my hands, and then distribute it lightly in my hair so that the hair doesn't necessarily get completely soaked with the product. Sometimes I use the hairdryer, but it's not necessary if you apply lightly, as it air-dries by itself quite quickly and gives a bit of hold even then. Not particularly impressed with the pump on the bottle, I have to spray many times to get a bit of product out. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #WATERCLOUDS

    Fragrant 🔥

I got the chance to try The Dude Saltwater Spray. First and foremost, I think the bottle feels luxurious and fits well in the bathroom cabinet. If you've followed my reviews before, you know that the appearance of packaging and bottles makes such a huge difference for the overall impression. 😁 Besides this, the application of the product is very easy, and it doesn't take much of the product to achieve a good result. A positive thing is that the spray smells really good, almost like you're applying a perfume but on your hair. Very good! 👌🏽 A product that lasts long for a pretty decent price, even though it feels a bit high. #lykoinflutester #waterclouds

    Very good saltwater spray

I have had positive impressions during the weeks I have tried this. It gives good texture to the hair and for my heavy hair, it also helps to provide necessary volume. Nice bottle with a well-functioning pump. Distributes the spray well over the hair. Doesn't feel sticky, and when the hair is blow-dried, it gets good texture. I have quite heavy and a lot of hair, so the saltwater spray alone is not enough, but as a first step, I am impressed with what it achieves. Provides a good base for hair wax, and the hairstyle lasts longer than when I go without the saltwater spray. I also experience no irritation in the scalp, which I have previously had with other brands of saltwater spray. The only negative I experience is the scent, which is a bit too sweet and strong and lingers a bit longer than desired. In summary, I find that it is a very good saltwater spray that probably suits many hair types. Works great as a pre-styler for me. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #WATERCLOUDS

    Great hold with matte finish!

#lykoinflutester #waterclouds The product comes in a transparent soft plastic bottle with a black spray nozzle. The nozzle sprays out a good amount of product with each pump. I have tried some products from Waterclouds before and have always loved how they smelled! However, I have a hard time with the scent of this saltwater spray. It has a very strong scent, almost like alcohol, which is a shame because the product itself is very good! I applied the spray to towel-dried hair to then style the hair with the help of a hairdryer. It gives very good hold and a nice matte finish. It’s easy to continue styling with gel, wax, or fiber cream and finish with a bit of hairspray to keep the hairstyle in place. For this “look,” I used WaterClouds Creator Fiber Cream, which I have also reviewed, feel free to check it out! I have straight, short hair with some whirls that do a bit of what they want, so it’s important for me to get good volume in my hair before I can style it, and this saltwater spray really does that. If it weren’t for the strong alcohol scent, it would have gotten 5/5. But since it really gives a good result for a reasonable price, it gets 4/5!

    Saltwater Spray

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test three products from the #waterclouds "the dude" - collection. Before I review, I wanted to share a bit about my hair/beard type: I have short hair but relatively thick and uncolored, my beard is thick and requires styling, the beard is medium-length and I have dark hair. Here we have the product I’ve used the most! I think this saltwater spray is really good, it keeps the styling even the next day, and I just need to wet-comb through my hair and I’m good to go. However, the scent is a bit special, it smells a bit harsh in a way, sometimes a bit musty. Which is a shame because the product itself is really good. Another downside is the spray pump, it’s quite sluggish, and the spray mist is hard, meaning a lot of product comes out but in the same spot, "bad mist". The packaging looks more exclusive than the other two in the collection, simple but stylish. I give it four out of five but would probably have given full points if the scent wasn’t special and if the mist was perfect. The pricing is very good in my opinion, you get a lot of product for the money. This is actually the product I can see myself buying again in the future.
