  Affordable hair gel

  I had the opportunity to try The Dude Styling Hairgel. Just like many other products from the ”The Dude” series, this hair gel comes in a stylish packaging that looks incredibly good in the bathroom cabinet or in the toiletry bag. A hair gel that both smells good and is easy to apply makes it a pleasure to use the product. It doesn’t take much to style a nice hairstyle since the gel is economical and therefore lasts long. In my opinion, the price is a bit too high, but the product does the job, and you still get a lot for your money. #lykoinflutester #waterclouds

  Stylish and effective

  My experience with hair products; I have used hair wax, hairspray, and saltwater spray for many years. However, in the last 2 years, I haven't used it to the same extent as I have changed my hairstyle, so I have tested the products on my type, which has short, thick, wavy hair. This has a scent that I would describe as being in the same fragrance family as the cream (typically masculine), but even a notch weaker. This actually suited quite well, a pleasant scent that doesn't bother. For these 3 products that I have tested to have 3 such different packaging, I understand little of, it would have been much cooler if they had been uniform. This hair gel gets top score for the tube and design on my part (the others don't)! Very easy to squeeze out the product, and the design is simple, elegant, and stylish. Pleasant consistency, I distributed it in my hands and then in my hair. Just the right thickness and stickiness of the gel to give a decent hold. Without any further aids, this probably works best for a typical wet style as it gives a lot of shine. And even though it provides hold, it won't, for example, be able to hold the hair straight up, which is the style type typically goes for. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #WATERCLOUDS

  Good as a Pre-Styler

  I thought I would totally dismiss this right away since I'm not at all fond of hair gel, but it still managed to impress me. Nice packaging and the product comes out smoothly without too much or too little product. Smells good and fresh. Distributes easily in the hair (even though it might need a bit more for a wet look). Initially, I tried to use it as a classic hair gel, and even though I have a lot of hair, it's thin, which results in seeing the scalp in a not-so-aesthetically pleasing way.. Probably works great for thick hair. Instead, I tried using it as a pre-styler where I apply it to the hair and blow-dry it dry. The result was good with nice shine and good volume. With a bit of hair wax, the result was really good. The hair feels a bit product-y but not crispy as I had expected. The downside is that it takes a long time to blow-dry, so I will probably still lean towards a saltwater spray, but for slightly fancier occasions, I can definitely see myself using this. In summary, I am impressed with it as a pre-styler, but as a classic hair gel, it simply becomes the wrong match for my hair. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #WATERCLOUDS

  Recommended for wetlook

  I am a 52-year-old man who has tested The Dude Styling Hairgel for a couple of days. I must say that I rarely use hair gel, but usually hair wax. I have medium-length hair that needs styling, and the hair gel has a strong hold and a lot of texture. It doesn't quite fit my hairstyles even though I think it's a good product. It claims to be ideal for wetlook, but I haven't tested that. It should work well for a styled side part too! It smells good and masculine like the other products in The Dude series. Not too strong, but just right, I like it. In summary, this is a product I can recommend for those with a more slick look to try. It has a pleasant scent. #lykoinflutester #waterclouds

  Styling Hairgel

  The dude styling hairgel As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test three products from the #waterclouds "the dude" - collection. Before I review, I wanted to share a bit about my hair/beard type: I have short hair but relatively thick and uncolored, my beard is thick and requires styling, the beard is medium-length and I have dark hair. Okay, so I have some thoughts on the styling hairgel, the advantage is that it smells as fresh as the fiber cream, the styling gel promises to leave the hair/beard shiny, even though it doesn't contain any alcohol, it also promises strong hold and texture, however, I think I can still sense a faint smell of alcohol, like a bit of hairspray? Anyway! I find it a bit harder to apply since it is relatively gooey, thick, and hardens quite quickly. Since I apply the product with a comb, it dries out pretty fast if I don't use a lot of product on the comb. It's just a bit difficult for me to style with. The design is nice too, a sleek plastic tube that is easy to open, which is a plus. However, there is one product among these three that I have used the most and really liked! Will I use up the product? Answer: maybe, due to lack of alternatives! I think the price is good for a hair gel, 199 bucks for 150ml seems totally okay to me. The gel does what it should, keeps the styling in place, and provides good hold. Also cool that it is made in Sweden. From me, it gets three out of five since it doesn't quite fit my preferences.
