I think the spikes in the brush hurt my head/scalp, never noticed anything like that before but I have wavy silky medium hair so maybe it's better for coarse hair?

It beautifully styles hair, even straight and resistant hair. I've been using it for a few weeks now and the brush is really great. I only took off one star because sometimes my hair gets tangled at the point where the brush connects to the handle - for a product of this class and at this price, that shouldn't happen.
