I have been testing the Water Drench Hydrating Body Cream daily for a week now. I have dry skin that requires moisturizing every time after a shower, otherwise I scratch myself to death from dryness. Therefore, I use large amounts of cream and oils for my body. The cream sounded on paper like it would suit me perfectly, as it is aimed at dry skin and is supposed to be moisturizing. The consistency is creamy and lovely, neither too thick nor too runny. It absorbs very quickly into the skin, and you avoid a sticky feeling on the skin, which I appreciate. I always apply a generous amount to relieve the itching, and the cream is quite not very economical, it uses up a lot of product. After a week, I have less than half the jar left! I often react on my body by becoming red and inflamed or getting eczema from body products with perfume in them, but with this one, I don't feel any direct scent and I don't react at all to it, something I really appreciate! This cream promised so much but didn't quite deliver for me, I don't feel moisturized at all, but rather dry just like before. Sure, it gives a lovely feeling when applying due to the consistency, but considering the price and all the nice words I've read about it, I expected so much more! It's a nice cream just like any budget variant, but nothing more than that. I was a bit disappointed and will not buy a new jar when this one runs out.
