I OFTEN get pH imbalances because I am in menopause, so these are a life saver. Haven't tried them for BV but always take a course when my pH balance goes crazy (like after sex, menstruation, and antibiotic treatments). They work every time. LaciCUR is a pH-regulating lactic acid gel that treats and prevents bacterial vaginosis in a completely natural way. Can be used during pregnancy. The basis of a healthy genital area is a balanced bacterial flora that has plenty of lactic acid bacteria (lactobacilli) and a low pH value of 3.8-4.5. The cause of bacterial vaginosis is a disturbance in the bacterial flora where the normal flora of lactobacilli is reduced and the amount of bacteria is increased. This results in an elevated pH where harmful bacteria thrive.
Use:
For treatment: use one tube of 5 g per day for 7 days at bedtime. For prevention: use one tube of 5 g per day for 2-3 days at bedtime after your period. For method of administration see package leaflet. Contains glycogen from maize. Should be avoided if you want to get pregnant. Store between 2-25 degrees.
