    Combine products

    Hi! I have mature (42 years), combination skin that easily gets blemishes (though significantly less with the products I use now). I use in my evening routine: Cerave blemish control cleanser, bioderma sebium micellar water, paulas choice 2% bha exfoliant, the ordinary niacinamide 10% and Cerave blemish control gel. This works well. In the morning Cerave blemish control cleanser Nip+fab vitamin c serum, Lumene flow moisturizer, Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Circle Eye Cream. (+spf during the summer) My question is: when in the routine can I fit in my Retinol serum?😊

      Hey Hanne 👋😃 Since this serum should not be used in the same routine as products with high concentrations of AHA and BHA acids, it should not be used together with Paula's Choice 2% BHA Exfoliant or Cerave Blemish Control Gel. I would therefore recommend structuring your routine so that you use Paula's Choice and CeraVe Blemish Gel about 4-5 evenings a week and 2-3 evenings a week you use your CeraVe Retinol Serum. When you use your retinol serum, you can use another moisturizer without active ingredients 🤗 Remember to introduce the retinol serum slowly so that your skin can adjust, and pause usage if irritation occurs 🤍 All the best! ✨

TOs are very strong in comparison and made for experienced users of retinoids, focus on anti-aging. Take care 🤍

    Question about usage

    Hi, I have never used retinol before, but I was thinking of starting with this one because it’s supposed to be good and a bit milder, so it’s good to start with 🙂 Currently, I’m using Beauty of Joseon glow serum Niacinamide + propolis morning and night and La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ as a spot treatment in the evening. Is it okay to combine this serum with those products? I was thinking of using retinol in the evening and starting to use it about 2 times a week and slowly acclimating my skin to it. Does that sound right? I have combination skin and get a bit of redness and small pimples now and then.

If you notice redness, peeling, or irritation, use retinol less often or pause until your skin calms down. TIRTIR Milk Skin Toner Light contains niacinamide, sometimes the skin can become a bit irritated when combining niacinamide with retinol.
