    ANBEFALER FOR TØRR HUDTYPE

    Vegan!

Hey Lyko! I wonder if 1. Does it contain any ingredients of animal origin? 2. Is it vegan-certified** or made entirely without animal ingredients? 3. Has it **been tested on animals** or is the brand cruelty-free? Thanks in advance for your help! Best regards, Saba

Hi Saba✨ Thank you for your questions! 😊 Here are the answers: 1. This contains no animal-derived ingredients in its main ingredients. We always recommend double-checking the ingredient list if you have specific requirements for vegan-friendly products. 2. It is not vegan-certified, but based on the ingredient list, the product is free from animal ingredients. La Roche-Posay focuses on skincare for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and their products are often free from such ingredients. 3. La Roche-Posay is not cruelty-free. The brand sells its products in markets where animal testing may still be legal, so they may be required to test on animals to sell in certain countries. However, they have an ethical responsibility to promote alternative testing methods. Hope this answer can be helpful and that you have a lovely day🌞

Hi Benni 👋 Thank you so much for your feedback, this is worth its weight in gold for both us and customers looking for new products! I'm sorry to hear that you've experienced red, irritated skin while using the product. It sounds like you might be allergic to some of the ingredients in this product, so I would recommend doing a patch test with any products going forward to prevent allergic reactions and similar issues. This cream contains a number of fats and oils that are not recommended for active acne-prone skin. With continuous use, there may be a clogging of the pores, which can lead to breakouts of impurities. I would recommend looking for products that are recommended for acne-prone skin going forward 🙌 Wishing you a fantastic day ahead 💓

    World's best skin cream

I'm on my 5th tube now, so incredibly good! Perfect for me since I have sensitive skin! Had issues with perioral dermatitis, but since I started using this, they have disappeared🥰 tip: apply the cream in your hand and rub it all over your hand, then you apply the thick layer to your face as the last step in your evening routine🥰 T

    A dry skin's story

Loved and used this for 2 years as my only (and student-budget-friendly) cream both summer and winter, day and night - until my skin suddenly said no last autumn (2024) had not changed anything at all in the routine since the autumn before but my skin became tight and I got dryness spots/beginning of eczema on eyelids, chin, and cheeks. I went to a skin therapist who explained that this should be used as a "shield" to lock in moisture + help to soothe etc. - but if no moisture is added beforehand, the risk is high that you become just dry and moisture-deprived anyway. (My routine at this time consisted of vegan kombucha essence, royal vita propolis serum, all about eyes rich, cicaplast - where was the hydration???) I had to resort to a super moisturizing SOS cream and continued to use cicaplast as a "night mask" 3-4 times a week. Noticed a big difference after just 1 week and have since continued to use this as a complement, even in summer. I really think cicaplast as a night mask is incredible. Feels like I wake up with real baby skin - even skin tone, small pores, and soft and glowing. Still a favorite at home - but in a new way. The other products I mentioned above are all favorites of mine and I still use them daily, but with the addition of a MOISTURIZING cream :) All's well that ends well!

There is no other face cream!

This is the absolute best face cream in my opinion. It’s cheap, moisturizing, long-lasting, and still light on the face. It works incredibly well under makeup. And my dry skin is very calm under this face cream.

Hey Kikki! 👋😊 Great question! La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+ is a richer, moisturizing balm that is primarily designed to soothe, repair, and strengthen the skin barrier. If you have very oily skin all over your face, this might feel a bit too heavy to use everywhere on a daily basis. Do you want something soothing but lighter for oily skin? La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Iso-Biome Creme, which is more suited for combination to oily skin but still caring! 🙌 Take care! 🤍

Hi Meri and thank you for your question! 🩵 When treating perioral dermatitis, it is generally recommended to use as simple and light skincare as possible. The product contains ingredients like shea butter and silicones, which can individually be too nourishing or heavy for sensitive skin. Every skin reacts differently. If you want to try this cream, I recommend testing the product on a small area of skin first. With perioral dermatitis, it’s always a good idea to follow a dermatologist's instructions and use the lightest, fragrance-free, and simplest products possible. If you want a personalized skincare routine that suits your skin's needs, you can take our free skin test so we can help you better 💙 You can find the skin test here: lyko.com/en/beauty-scan/skin-test
