Unfortunately didn't work for my skin
I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately it didn't work as well for my skin as I had hoped. The biggest issue is that it flakes when I apply it, making it feel like small product residues remain on the skin instead of absorbing properly. I bought this for the first time when I couldn’t ignore all the "hype" anymore. It’s already been a year and I keep buying it again and again, I can’t live without it. I have quite dry skin and use some active ingredients, this helps give me a good skin barrier. I apply a thick layer every night, and now that it’s getting colder, I also mix in a bit in the morning. My RIDE OR DIE!!! I use it as a base for makeup every morning since I like a more glowing look. Let it sink in a bit and then apply SPF & primer. It becomes an INSANE base, so much glow and holds super well! Had problem skin before and this worked really well then too. Will never stop buying. Not good for acne
I bought this a long time ago… And as you can see, it’s almost finished BUT… unfortunately, this didn’t work at all for me. I have slightly acne-prone skin, but nothing severe. I read so many positive things about this, especially during winter when the air gets colder and drier. It felt like a thick blanket over my entire face. The next day I woke up with lots of small bumps all over my face. Of course, I thought maybe my skin needed to get used to it, so I waited a few days and tried again. But the exact same thing happened. My skin simply can’t handle this heavy texture. So be careful with this if you also tend to get clogged pores. If you have very dry skin, this will be great. It ended up being a hand cream to use it up. La Roche Posay is not cruelty-free either, which might be good to know.
