Yes, the headline speaks for itself, but of course there will be an explanation for it. ☺️ Beauty of joseon’s spf became incredibly popular, praised, and viral two years ago (if I remember correctly). I didn’t jump on the bandwagon back then, and didn’t buy or test it. But now I am! And I understand now why ”Dalla” loved/loves it. I’ve heard before that you don’t need to use regular day cream if you’re using spf/sunscreen. I’ve tested both with day cream underneath, and without. It has worked well without day cream underneath. But since I tend to have dry skin, I’ve mostly used day cream underneath. So, I don’t think it can be said too much! But this one is really faaaaantastic!!! The cream is very light in consistency. But despite that, I haven’t felt dry on my skin, the times I haven’t had day cream underneath. It feels like it softens/moisturizes effectively, while the cream doesn’t leave any greasy or sticky surface on the skin. It works absolutely fantastic under makeup. I usually use clarins skin illusion (foundation). It doesn’t stick or roll in any way. 🙌 When it comes to scent, the cream is almost scent-free. I can’t smell much anyway. Maybe a slight delicate scent that reminds me of soap? The tube is easy to apply from, as it is made of soft plastic. If there’s anything that could be better, it’s that I find it desirable that all tubes should have snap caps (even this one). And not screw caps. And that the cream has ”full” spf 50 is super-duper-great! 😅 Now it’s recommended that you should use spf every day. All year round. But I would have liked to properly test this as spf. E.g. on a sunny vacation. Now it’s not really the right season for that, as one (I) is hardly exposed to the sun at all. So therefore, I only give it four stars. Because I can’t actually assess how it is as sun protection when the skin is properly exposed to the sun. But I still want to give it the words: crazy good!! #lykoinflutester #beautyofjoseon

  Great review and fun that you like this, because I do too!! 😁 haha! I prefer Dr Ceuracles over this, but I have combination skin that doesn't get dry except in certain areas. So fun that you liked this, and I’m looking forward to your next sun vacation 😉

If you don't have anything previously that you think works, maybe a sunscreen labeled non-comedogenic might suit you better. Best sunscreen!

Can be hard to beat
Super good sunscreen for the face! What I look for in a sunscreen is a higher SPF, a light formula that my oily eczema skin can tolerate, and that it doesn't make me whiter in the face. Beauty of Joseon's sunscreen meets all these requirements. It might even become a recurring favorite. The sunscreen is very light in consistency and absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling greasy. But it is also moisturizing enough that the only thing I use during the day is a watery serum and then apply BoJ over it. I don't feel that it makes my skin oilier either, as many sun products can do. I know that you should reapply sunscreen during the day, but despite that, I've never gotten burned, even though I've been in the sun for most of the day. It doesn't irritate the skin at all, and it doesn't cause more breakouts than usual. BoJ also works excellently as a base for makeup, which is great! + light and mild formula + high sun protection + suitable for many skin types + contains many yummy ingredients that are good for the skin - one might wish for a pump, maybe? For anyone looking for a good sunscreen for the face, BoJ is definitely worth trying. Now I'm also curious about their other variant of this sunscreen... #LYKOINFLUTESTER #BeautyofJoseon

The absolute best sunscreen I've tried for the face. You get so hydrated that you don't even need a moisturizer underneath, this is enough, and if you're late and only need one product, this is it! It sinks in quickly and feels light on the skin, leaving no layer or any white cast. Works great under makeup, which I find many others do not. The tube also lasts a very long time. Incredible favorite!

I think this SPF is amazing. It's not sticky at all and leaves such a nice glow. Works perfectly under makeup too. Sometimes it can sting when I use other SPFs, but not with this one. Great product.

I really like it, it doesn't smell like many other sunscreens and doesn't feel as sticky as many sunscreens can. I've bought it twice now, once in the summer and I didn't burn my face a single time, and it sits very nicely under makeup, so it's definitely a product I will buy over and over again.

I’ve been lucky to #lykoinflutester test this. I’ve heard a lot about the brand #beautyofjoseon, but since I have sensitive skin, I haven’t dared to try it, even though it says it’s for all skin types. I love the consistency, and that it absorbs quickly into the skin, not leaving a white sticky layer like other sunscreens often do. I’m going to buy and test this when the sun comes out fully again! It doesn’t smell good, and that brings it down. I wish you could give half stars😅 The look of the tube gives me a spa feeling, and feels exclusive. As I said, despite the gross smell, I will buy it again!

Ingredients

Relief Sun is a lightweight and creamy type organic sunscreen that's comfortable on skin. Even if you apply a large amount several times, it is not sticky and gives a moist finish like that of a light moisturizing cream. Containing 30% rice extract and grain fermented extracts, it provides moisture and nourishment to the skin.
