Nice eye cream
Lovely eye cream with a wonderful consistency that sinks in quickly. I find that the applicator is perfect for this product as you get exactly as much as you need for applying cream around both eyes with one pump. Thanks to the applicator giving you just the right amount, this product will last longer. A big disappointment!
I had heard a lot of good things about this eye cream and ultimately chose it over Some By Mi Retinol Intense Advanced Triple Action, just because so many experts and users described it as perfect for beginners with retinol. According to several reviews and skin advisors, it was supposed to both hydrate, brighten, and help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. I used it regularly both morning and night – around the eyes and sometimes even in larger areas of the face. The tube lasted just over five months, which I think is generous for an eye cream. Unfortunately, I noticed no visible results. Neither immediately nor after several months of use did I see any difference in lines, dark circles, or skin texture. A big disappointment considering how much the product has been hyped. The feeling is that it simply wasn’t strong enough to provide noticeable effects on my skin. For those looking for more visible results – especially when it comes to lines, dark circles, and dryness under the eyes. It likely requires a stronger formula with a higher dose of retinol and more active ingredients. There are still positive sides. The cream has a very pleasant consistency, hydrates well, and never caused me any irritation or dryness, which is a big plus – especially for sensitive skin. I have to start by saying; I love this serum! Retinol products can be a bit tricky for sensitive skin as they tend to be quite strong. Retinal is an advancement of retinol where it is supposed to be superior in terms of better results and fewer side effects. My sensitive eczema skin tolerates this product really well. Around the eyes, I only use it now and then, but on the whole face and neck, I use it every evening! The fact that the serum is more like a cream makes it feel extra moisturizing, and besides retinal, it contains several yummy ingredients like Niacinamide, Ginseng, and ceramides. When I use it, I first apply a watery serum with hyaluron, then the retinal serum, and finish with a slightly richer cream in the evening. (One should preferably use retinol products in the evening.) In terms of results, it’s hard to say if it has helped with fine lines and such. But it seems to keep blemishes and impurities at bay. I mostly believe that retinol slows down aging rather than actually treating the wrinkles that are already there. So I am completely satisfied with the result it has given and according to my expectations. + just the right thickness + good ingredients + fragrance-free! + not irritating on my sensitive skin + I feel that my skin has gotten a boost in texture + large tube for being for the eyes - does not come in different strengths, as many other retinol products do. I have as #lykoinflutester tested this product from #beautyofjoseon. I have long considered buying products from this brand, but as someone with sensitive skin, it’s scary to try new brands. This feels more like an eye cream than a serum, and it’s economical in use, so I’ll probably have this for a very long time to come. And if you use this only around the eyes, you don’t notice the smell either.
