Ingredients

With Effaclar Duo+M from La Rosche-Posay, you get a cream that effectively counteracts impurities (e.g. pimples), marks after acne and counteracts new breakouts*. Has a triple corrective effect from 8 hours**. Less visible red impurities and the skin gets a smoother and more even surface with less shine. Does not clog the pores of the skin, and is hypoallergenic. Apply daily after cleansing, avoid areas around the eyes. Can be used under makeup.

Should I use it as a moisturizer or should I apply it after the product? And I wonder if I can mix the cream with niacinamide :))

  Hey Leona! If you have oily or acne-prone skin, it can work as your daily moisturizer, but if you have drier skin, you can apply an extra hydrating product on top, especially in the evening🤗 Effaclar Duo+ can be used together with niacinamide😊 Take care! 🤗

Does this help get rid of bumps on the forehead and around the chin? I also have common clouds toner that I use 2 times a week and skin purrifer every day if I don't use common clouds, but I feel like nothing helps with bumps at all. I also use Beauty of Joseon glow serum with niacinamide, and Purito calming gel after that. I really need help getting rid of the bumps on the side of my chin and forehead❤️

  Hi Emma Effaclar Duo + M and Cerave Moisturizing lotion are both finishing moisturizers, so you don't need to use both products in the same routine! You can for example use Effaclar in the morning and cerave lotion in the evening If you apply moisturizer on top of moisturizer, it can be a bit too much for the skin, and it can lead to clogged pores. Feel free to try to distribute the products into separate routines so it doesn't lead to a crash! Wishing you a nice day ahead

Can you use DUO+M as a spot treatment and apply Balm B5+ as a full moisturizer on the face, or will this clash of ingredients / does DUO+M not add that much?

  Hi Julie Both Effaclar Duo + M and the Mela B5 serum contain a number of active ingredients that are not recommended to be used in the same routine. In this case, I would recommend using Effaclar Duo + M in its own routine, and Mela B5 in its own routine Effaclar Duo + M reduces impurities, inflamed acne, clogged pores, and balances oil production as well as reducing scars from acne. The Mela B5 serum works on many of the same areas, so you don't necessarily need to use both products.
