What a lifesaver!
I've had bad acne for several years, which has been very tough. I started with iso about 15 months ago. Got this and other products from the same brand as a recommendation from my dermatologist. Even before the medicine could help, this started to help. Since I finished the treatment, I've kept the pimples away with this cream and the cleanser that I've recommended before. I can highly recommend it! Picture 1 is about 2 years old and the other is a few weeks old. #lykomission #lykoreview18012 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 1 yearsYes, it has really helped me! 😍 I mean, you are wonderful! 😂💖 I don't think I have any picture that fully shows how much it was because I thought it was hard to take close-up pictures back then. But thank you, lovely you! ❤️ I don't think yours show either! You have such incredibly beautiful skin 😘3 likes

The new formula doesn't work for me
The cream has a light formula that doesn't feel oily and quickly absorbs into the skin with a matte finish. I'm a bit torn about this product as I've used it for several years in cycles and initially loved it. I noticed a big difference in redness and that pimples disappeared faster. However, during these 4 weeks that I've been able to try it again after a break of a few months, I must say that my perception has changed. I rarely use this product all over my face but focus the product on my problem areas and have experienced that the acne has gotten worse on the days I've used the product. I've thought that my skin might be too sensitive and that I shouldn't use it every day. Suddenly, my acne feels better on the days I don't use it. Maybe this product has a purging period, or it simply doesn't suit my skin. At the same time, it has helped somewhat in other areas of my face to reduce redness, such as on my forehead. Therefore, I find it hard to review the product as I've gotten such different results. Another downside I've noticed is that I can't get it to work under makeup. It crumbles no matter what other products I combine it with. It's also not moisturizing enough for me, even though I have combination skin, so I always have to have another cream on top. Unfortunately, this cream is no longer a hit for me, even though I liked it before. Maybe it's the new Duo+B formula that doesn't work for me compared to the old Duo+ Anti-imperfections Corrective Unclogging Care. I will probably continue to use the cream to see if my skin reacts better with longer use. #lykotestpilot #larocheposay #lykoreview7544 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 8 monthsHey Tess😊 Thank you for taking the time to share your experience so thoroughly – it’s really valuable🤍 I understand that one can feel disappointed when a product they previously liked changes formula and no longer feels the same. It sounds wise that you listened to your skin and adjusted the usage. Sometimes the needs of the skin can also change over time, and certain ingredients that previously worked may feel different later on – especially if you find that your skin has become more sensitive. However, the fact that you still saw effects on redness in certain areas and appreciate the consistency is still positive overall. That the cream didn’t suit your skin under makeup and didn’t provide enough hydration for you is also good to highlight – it helps both us and other customers get a nuanced picture. We hope that your skin stabilizes if you choose to continue using it and that you gain more clarity over time. So fun that you got the chance to test it, and I hope you have a lovely day🌞5 likes

Good
This triple-correcting face cream effectively combats blemishes and acne scars while giving the skin a matte and even finish for up to 24 hours. The lightweight gel texture absorbs quickly without clogging pores and works proactively to soothe the skin and prevent new breakouts.213 views - The post was made 1 week

I struggle with pimples under the skin, and scars from the sun and pimples. Can I use this together with La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Serum?180 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 3 daysHi! Yes, if you have issues with both pigmentation and pimples, there should be no problem combining these 🤗 Remember to use sunscreen to prevent the pigmentation from getting worse due to the sun ☀️ Tips for this from La Roche: lyko.com/sv/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-anthelios-uvmune-400-anti-dark-spots-fluid-spf50--50.0-ml

La Roche-Posay Effaclar DUO+M 40 ml
Can this be used by breastfeeding mothers?237 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 weekHejsan Helle!☺️ This can generally be used during breastfeeding, but with some caution 💛 It contains, among other things, salicylic acid (BHA), and even though it is used topically in small amounts, it is recommended to avoid applying it to the breast area and always double-check with a midwife or doctor to be completely sure 💫 All the best!

Works well
Notice that scars from pimples start to disappear and become less visible. They don’t go away in a few days, so you have to be patient here. I use this with a regular moisturizer on top.521 views - The post was made 4 weeksRating: 5 out of 5verified customer

Percentage
Hi! How many percent niacinamide and salicylic acid does this contain?471 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHi Monika😊 Effaclar Duo+M contains 0.5% salicylic acid (according to the manufacturer). Niacinamide is also in the product, but the exact percentage is unfortunately not specified by La Roche-Posay. Hope this helps! ✨1 likes

Retinol
Hi! Is it possible to use retinol serum in the same routine as this?486 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHi Monika😊 No, it is not recommended to use retinol serum at the same time as Effaclar Duo, as it can irritate the skin. It’s best to use them at different times, e.g. Effaclar Duo in the morning and retinol in the evening, or on different evenings. Don’t forget sunscreen during the day🌞 Hope the answer can be helpful✨
