Heihei 👋 Duo + M and Retinol contain active ingredients that can irritate the skin when combined. Therefore, you should not use Effaclar Duo+ together with retinol in the same routine - but distribute them into different routines 💪 Retinol and vitamin C have different pH levels and can irritate the skin if used together, so it is recommended to use the products in separate routines morning/evening! 🙌 You can use Effaclar Duo+ M and vitamin C in the same routine, but there are some caveats -Effaclar Duo+ M contains salicylic acid (BHA) and LHA, which are exfoliating acids. -Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is an active and unstable antioxidant serum that can irritate the skin when combined with acids in some cases. ➡️ For those with sensitive skin, it is recommended to use either vitamin C or acids (like salicylic acid) in the same routine - not both, to minimize irritation. ➡️ For normal/robust skin, both can be used together - but it is recommended to apply vitamin C first, wait a few minutes, and then apply Effaclar Duo+ M. For sensitive skin: ☀️Morning: Cleanse → Vitamin C → Moisturizer → SPF 🌙Evening: Cleanse → Effaclar Duo+ M → Moisturizer For normal skin: ☀️Morning: Cleanse → Vitamin C → (wait a bit) → Effaclar Duo+ M → SPF 🌙Evening: Cleanse → Retinol (every other evening) → Moisturizer ‼️Important info -Avoid using them simultaneously in the same routine. -Listen to your skin - if redness/dryness occurs, reduce retinol or acid frequency. -Always use sunscreen during the day when using retinol. -If you are unsure, you can alternate: vitamin C one day, retinol the next. Wishing you a nice day ahead 💓
