A moisture serum that delivers 💧
As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to test skincare from the skinfluencer brand SAWÉ Skin Science, including their Hyaluronic Catalyst Power Serum with pretty low expectations. Partly because I have previously reacted strongly to algae, which is found in the ingredient list, and partly because I generally think that moisture serums are often an unnecessary product in the skincare routine. But that said: if you are to judge a moisture serum for what it is and is supposed to do, this one does its job. It effectively hydrates and helps to lock in moisture in the skin, without feeling heavy, sticky, or clogging (algae notwithstanding). It works well in layers with other products and gives a soft, pleasant feeling on the skin. It is not a product I see as necessary in my routine, but it is a well-formulated serum that delivers what it promises, and for those looking for a hydrating step, it is a really good option. Too expensive for a basic product
I have tested this hyaluronic acid serum for about a month. As a reference, I have dry skin. I can start by saying that the design of this is very beautiful. It is a solid glass bottle with a dropper that is aesthetically pleasing. The serum is easy to dispense and is quite viscous, resembling many other hyaluronic acid serums in its texture. It is a bit sticky upon application and thus resembles other serums with the same ingredient list. It hydrates okay but not wow. Price-wise, it is expensive, and I feel it is too pricey for the composition it has. This is not the best hyaluronic acid serum I have tested, but definitely one of the most expensive. Hyaluronic Catalyst Power Serum
I have now tested this serum for a couple of weeks, using it after cleansing and before moisturizer. I have combination skin with both dry and oilier areas on my face. I prefer to use the serum in the evening as I don't think it worked that well under my makeup during the day. The consistency is a bit thick, feels somewhat sticky but it provides moisture to the skin which is nice. Smartson Test Pilot - Not Worth the Price
As a reference, I have dry and sensitive skin. I used the serum for less than two weeks because it leaves a pretty sticky feeling after application, something I personally don't like, especially when the stickiness lingers for a long time. For sensitive skin, it works well, I had no negative reactions. The hydration is completely okay, but not better than other hyaluronic acid serums I've tested. It's possible that you need to use the product for a longer time to see results like increased radiance, but I didn't notice anything special during the testing period. The serum is easy to dose and has a thick consistency, which is common for this type of product. . Considering the price, I don't think it's worth it. This is not the best serum I've tested, and even though the packaging is nice, the design isn't enough to justify the cost. Unfortunately, the formula doesn't live up to expectations. Pretty decent serum
A good serum that provides light moisture and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky film. The skin feels soft and smooth after application, and it works well in combination with other skincare products. Still, I was left with the feeling that it could have given a bit more – especially considering the name and price. It provides a nice base and adds moisture, but it lacks that little extra that really sets it apart from other hyaluronic acid products. I have now tested the Hyaluronic Catalyst Power Serum from SAWE Skin Science for just over two weeks and I am really impressed. The serum has a light and silky consistency that quickly absorbs into the skin without being sticky. It gives an immediate feeling of hydration and freshness, and I feel that my skin feels both fuller and more elastic since I started using it. Good, but not for my summer skin
I've been testing this for two weeks now and a big advantage is that it's fragrance-free. It also feels easy to use and feels good on the skin. However, my skin is so oily now during the summer, especially now that it's so hot, so I haven't experienced much help with this yet. Moisturizing Serum
As a tester for the product via Smartson (free of charge), here comes my review. A great product, I loved this serum. The skin really gets the moisture it needs, whether you wear makeup or not, the skin feels wonderfully hydrated and gets a nice glow. This product is very easy to work with, it is easy to apply and very easy to massage into the skin. Thanks to the pipette and the design of the bottle, it is easy to get the right amount of the product. Only a couple of drops are needed to cover the entire face. I have used this product for 2 weeks as part of my morning/evening routine along with the other products in this series.
