A possible feeling of luxury
Starskin writes on the packaging that they recommend using the hand mask 1-2 times a week. How many plastic gloves will that be over the course of a year, and what will it cost in dollars? A lot. Starskin is a relatively young company (2015), based in the Netherlands and uses Korean skincare technology. The gloves are large but have an ok closure mechanism, tape. The serum smells nice, calming lavender maybe? It’s a bit of a strong scent. The hands feel the same as before, after use. I have medium dry hands in the winter. The product is not recommended for skin with wounds and cracks. The design is meant to give an impression of luxury. The packaging is marked with V.I.P and the gloves are gold-colored. It didn’t make much of an impression on me. For me, it’s not relevant to buy this or similar products. But I can imagine there are those who could enjoy using it now and then, for pure well-being. I prefer cotton gloves with hand cream. Not so luxurious, but it works. Also for the environment.
