Usage:
Step 1.
Prep
Always start by washing your hands thoroughly. This removes dirt and any leftover cosmetic products. Gently push back or trim your cuticles and make sure your nails are completely dry to avoid any moisture lingering under the nail bed.
Why is this important? Your Layers adhere better to a clean, dry, and smooth nail bed, resulting in a more even finish and longer-lasting Layers.

Step 2.
Open the package
Peel off the protective film from the sheet of Layers. Choose the size of your Layers by comparing the different sizes to your nail; you want a Layer that closely matches your own nail size. If you’re between two sizes, go for the narrower one and stretch it sideways over the nail bed for a sleeker and more durable finish.

Step 3.
Place
To attach the Layer to your nail, position it on the nail bed, starting from one side near the cuticle and press it out to the other side. Continue towards the tip. For the best results, make sure the Layer is applied directly to the nail bed and not the skin, with the edges snug against but not on your cuticle—our Layers are stretchy and can be pulled for optimal coverage.

Step 4.
Adjust Length
Pull the Layer over the tip—it’s a bit like tucking a sheet over a mattress. Use a nail or fingertip, or the edge of a nail file, to press the Layer firmly around the nail’s edge. Trim any excess by pinching it off and/or using a nail file.

Step 5.
Cure
Place your nails under the UV LED lamp, one hand at a time. Press the top of the lamp and hold your hand there until the light turns off after 60 seconds. The lamp cures the material, enhancing the durability of your manicure and giving your nails a gorgeous shine. Remember, all nails need to go under the lamp.

Step 6.
You nailed it!

Step 7.
Removal
Ready for a color and pattern change? Here’s how to remove your old Layers: start from the bottom near the cuticle. Gently peel the Layer off slowly. If it’s tough to remove, you can use nail oil: drop some oil under the Layer at the cuticle and wait for two minutes. Then, slowly peel off the Layer. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

Before applying new Layers, scrape off any cuticle residue from the nail bed and push back or trim the cuticles. Also, ensure your nails are completely dry to avoid any moisture under the nail bed or a softer nail bed than usual.
